It's a good start to an aging game. It's unfinished and will stay that way for years.
The primary developer works on it when they can be arsed to, but the onhold tag was put in when they lost their dayjob. Latest news is that employment has been regained, and development is resuming. The version here is missing a couple of bugfixes, but the next content update should show up over the winter.
Appreciate the info. I don't mind slow development if it's moving forward. But I also know first hand how hard it is to keep up with a game when it's not your 'primary employment'. I'll add it to the list.

Honestly, at this point it's not about slow development anymore, the first episode was released about 4 years ago. Regular updates came out for a year or two but it's been pretty dead since. I don't remember the exact timeline anymore but it has been a freaking year since the last episode came out, and prior to that it was almost another year waiting for ep 7. I would say that this game is NOT moving forward.
The plan is for a story spanning 7 days but 4 years in and day 2 isn't even complete.
It's a story with lots of depth and varied paths but the constant development limbo has killed it.
Oh wow, yeah, that's a pretty long hiatus.
I appreciate you sharing all of this. I know I could have done a bit more research and probably unearthed all these details myself. But between working full time, making my own game, keeping up with our email and our own thread, I'm just stretched thin.
So I appreciate you and Bagger just taking a minute and filling me in. Cheers mates!

Apparently he was ill a few years ago, and also had family/personal issues. maybe it'll be continued now. I hope so, because it was good.

so many abandon games dev use illness and moving as excuse to milk patreon/donation. even if they do update it years later it'll be a couple of pic or minor content not worth checking out. sad but it is what it is.

Wolfshadowe is not milking anyone. He does not charge a monthly fee, he only charges when there is a new episode to publish.

Hi guys.... I've been in the game forum yesterday, and for what I saw the game is still alive... but as the dev had some family problems and new job nad other stuff, its on hold.... Wolfshadowe himself confirmed that the game is going to continue, but it's his hobby made after his job time and after his family time, so....
Also, as he charge by episode release and not every month, he's not a patreon milker, so no one can complain about it.

Last time I checked in on this game, they had finally released an update after what felt like 3 years, and it had been announced that the new changes/team/whatever would make it so that updates could be released much, much faster.
