I've played a version of this game that had lots of more stuff and events.
It was this game.
Look like the dev regressed it. The other had a some kind of map and stuff, this feel more simplified.

Mostly correct. I think AA and HHS+ came out near each other, but you can see the chronology of all three games at their joint forums,

Note that the mods are at least 2 years old, and may cause problems. I tried a few and they tend to cause an error that resets a lot of the options that were in the latest release.

Pretty sure it's triggered by low Behavior. Also in the New Game + you can buy fire protection.
