As for the male protag, I'm sure that'll make a few other people here happy, but it's Alisya that draws me to this game, not him.

Even though Zed is the "Luke Skywalker (from SW) / Neo (from Matrix)" type character of the story, there are still girl characters which will develop into complete badasses where you will have scenes/story routes to give them choices too
. Think of Alisya like the "Rey (from SW) / Trinity (from Matrix)" of the story. While there will be damsels and such, I also want my game to have strong female badass characters too.

Ok, if a mod changes it to male protag because of Zed, that would be nice. (With Alisya being the female protag coming in a close second.. is it possible to tag both male and female protag lol ?)

Always good to see someone return to the fold. I had actually forgotten all about this game. When I first started playing the update I was confused cause I had existing saves apparently in the old Ren'Py cache, then it started coming back to me with the elf princess and the orcs/trolls or whatever they are.
I will admit it is a bit overwhelming right now, so many characters and stories, all the cutting back and forth feels a bit muddled and scattered. From a player standpoint it makes me wonder who I'm supposed to care about. Which starts to make me not want to care about anyone since it feels like as soon as my attention is about to get captured, I get switched again back to another set of characters or new ones. This gets a bit exacerbated by some of the choices that just instantly lead to game over, even on a minor thing taking a like a necklace or top, not the type of choice I would normally associate with game over. Makes more sense on one of the choices like attack now or wait and see.
That being said, overall I do enjoy the game and I'm glad to see that the dev is able to return to working on it.

Thanks for the feedback on the game overs. And yeah sorry your old saves won't work because I pretty much rearranged everything and gave the game a overhaul, especially by adding the new villain General Trodo (the troll with eyepatch). But there is a scene selection menu now so you can jump to scenes that way.
And I can see how it is overhelming as I've introduced a lot of different characters. I assure you that Zed, Raury, and Alisya are the main characters and will receive most attention but I kind of felt like I had to introduce the other characters simply to make the main characters' motivations clearer. Also, I tend to be a fan of games and movies where there's a whole bunch of interesting characters who each have their own stories/paths that intertwine with each others... sort of like Walking Dead or FFVI or Star Wars... So I want to do something similar for Princess of Zunuria.

whoever initially created the thread and maintains the OP is who you should contact..give that person all the tags you wish added any details pertinent to the gameplay you think should be included in the summary etc..dev involvement in the details on a post goes far towards player confidence

No worries about the old saves, like I said I had forgotten about the game and seeing the old saves was just like "oh I must've played this before" lol. I can understand having many interesting characters, and I'm all for that as well. For me personally I just felt like I was getting a bit of whiplash jumping between everything so rapidly. But it sounds like you have plans to focus mainly a few characters and maybe once the stories go from introduction to the main stories the pacing will change. Good work so far.
Story is kinda confusing, way too many characters and too many things happening at different places at the same time ! LOL. However, it does look like it's getting somewhere. Not bad

Considering multiple people commented that the scenes were jumping from character to character too much, I went ahead and grouped the scenes better to make things less confusing. I have released a v.06 (Revised) version on my patreon.

Choices need meaning, without meaning the choices serve no purpose.
It's more from an immersion aspect. Don't worry, there will still be plenty of daz style. The game is half daz style and half cartoon style. There are regions of Zunuria that will still remain daz style.was really enjoying the game until the game went cartoony
