The Creative Process *sniffs poshly*
We're so thrilled and excited that you're this interested in our little pet project, so we wanted to share a bit of our design process with you. We're a couple with rather diverging skill sets (one grad student in the sciences, one in a care provider job) so we tend to divvy up duties accordingly. The first shall be entitled Geek, and the second Nerd.
Step One: The Idea
Geek formed the original idea during a... well, presumably a wank session over some 3D porn. He poked around until he found some software suitable for the purpose, then threw together a plot and surprised Nerd with the idea. They then began the process of character design and plot development. Geek, with the more advanced software and technical skills, took the lead in rendering images, while Nerd offered constructive criticism and stylistic guidance. (seriously, who makes a redhead tan? Sheesh.)
Step Two: The Assembly
Geek and Nerd then began the process of actually writing a game engine and dialogue. This was a more laborious process than strictly necessary, since Nerd had minimal exposure to programming software and therefore had to be taught how to use Visual Studio Code, RenPy, and all manner of Git nonsense. There were more misplaced colons than at a Kink.com shoot.
Step Three: The Promotion
This is the step we're in right now! Since we're producing some adult content, we don't show up in Patreon's search results. *single tear* But we can still advertise on other platforms! We've posted to subreddits, Tumblrs, and basically anywhere we can retain a shred of anonymity. So if you like our game, post a link! Tell your friends! Shout it from the rooftops! We're sluts for feedback, really.
Step Four: The Continuation
We have a main storyline planned out over a 25-page design document, bringing all the different characters together in fun and kinky ways. This is going to be slow going, mainly because we lack good render hardware. Putting our current game engine together was a substantial investment of time -- but it does allow us to gracefully handle updates while maintaining savegame compatibility. (Geek just sniffed at me. Apparently, Geek takes too much pride in their software development skills. Hmph.)
Anyway, our engine is ready to deal with intricate plots. We have lots of delicious content planned. All we need is render hardware to make this a reality.
In sum, we're very grateful for your support in this little project of ours, and we hope that we can give you some quality content in return.
Thank you for reading, and enjoy!
