The lack of emphasis on visual is dreadfully concerning.

In any case, good for you for getting off of text alone. Perhaps my troglodyte brain simply cannot comprehend such Shakespearean level of jerk off material.
The ratio of text to visuals is normal for a professional VN. Many of those start with the protagonist narrating over background art for the first ten minutes so if anything the number of event stills here is on the high side. Visual novels are novels enhanced with artwork and music. Not the other way around.

This VN was published on itch.io, which is not a porn game site. It clearly advertises itself as erotica and not porn or "jerk off material". You're complaining that it fails to be a thing it never claimed to be.

I get it really. But as I mentioned in my post, it is overly wordy and preachy. It's just too much.
I have to agree. It's not that I don't see the purpose and point of the preachy stuff as such, it's just that there's wayyyy too much of it. And also too much text in general. Despite their name, visual novels are not supposed to be merely novels that happen to come with pictures. A certain amount of introspection and mood-setting is much needed, but it should take a back seat to an actual story, with meaningful choices. Yes, clearly, this is very early days here, but I have to agree that the deluge of words is already overwhelming.

I liked it.
The dialogue explained and supplemented the graphics.
it is not an atheistic POV necessarily but an indictment of the narrow mindedness and hypocrisy in how the Christian faith is too often interpreted into practice.

Be nice to have more graphics- they a pretty hot.
Wonder how she is going to get out of the pickle...

Great start - excellent game so far, lets hope the Dev has no time to read all this because, s/he is far far too busy cracking on with the next release ;)

Graphically, this thing is awesome. The story is pretty nice too. Let's see what else is coming. I'm looking forward to it.
In any case, one should support the Good Man in his work.

Will be there lezdom?
Yes.

There are two main routes through the game. One is a "safe", vanilla, Christian male love interest. It is "maledom" in a way, but only in the Biblical sense. There's no BDSM and no sex until marriage. The other is a lezdom, BDSM-focused love interest that, if Sophie pursues her, may result in her getting shunned by the town for being a sexual deviant.

You can also choose neither love interest. That'll probably be a very uneventful route.

It's well written. I think people need to step back from saying how Visual Novels are supposed to be. Make your own then.

The team, or person, creating this can do so how they wish. There is no convention they need to stick to. If you find it too wordy to enjoy then look at the different VN's you might prefer instead.

Just found this little gem, and I must say, it's an amazing start. I love the entire premise, as well as the execution, and I am really looking forward to how this story develops.

One thing I wonder is, are there going to be meaningful choices and different paths to explore, besides just choosing between the main love interests? So far it doesn't seem as if the choices have much of an impact, but of course this is only the prologue.
Although I gotta say that I love this one so much that this might actually be a rare instance of me enjoying a VN that veers more into the direction of kinetic novel. So either way is fine, as far as I am concerned.

The plot has a double helix kind of structure. Choosing between the two love interests branches the story onto different paths, then afterward the paths rejoin since Sophie has to go to work the next day. It's more manageable that way.

I don't even know how to rate it. The render is good, but there are very few pictures. The plot is ok, but it breaks off at the climax, so it's also hard to judge. The game is too unprepared even for beta.

And it is better to display more messages at a time or reduce the number. Too many clicks.

Compared to Steins;gate, there is an extremely high number of pictures for its current length.

This is v0.1. There's nine(-ish) more releases to continue the story.

I like the rhythm of the dialogue the way it is right now, sorry.

There isn't any patron or supporter from MA around? I just saw his/her/their patreon page and it is very active, but no new releases.
