Bug when going for the Cargo Bay waypoint

Not only is it sorrounded by invisible walls making it VERY difficult to get to and I do mean surrounded, showing the game is not as open world as it appears, and it doesn't register as being picked up once you walk through it.

I won't say this game is so horrible in terms of performance. I've seen much worse with 3-rooms size maps.

Btw game distrib is not packed and even contains uproject file.
Yes, all the Developer Previews published so far are unpacked. I'm working on packing it and releasing smaller sized updates, containing only the modified files. Same as updates and patches on mainstream games. But it's still in testing. I'll keep everyone posted! Thanks!

There is a naked woman standing right in front of you, at the beginning of the game, at the gate of the house. Am I missing something? Is she missing or what? Please report if that's so and you can't find her and can't talk to her. Thanks!
Yes she's there but I approach her and press every key on the keyboard. She does nothing.

Thanks

You might also want to make it easier to talk to the woman, because it's difficult to approach her in the way you need to get her talking.
for example, you could add the ability to press a key, like "E" to start the conversation when you get close to her

i also need to add
you might want to rethink the blue lights that indicate where to go, you can make them thicker or use a colour that will show much easier

You need to approach her in a certain position, then she'll start talking to you

The "Enter" key is only used to move onto the next line of dialogue

Ok well I got her to talk to me but it's all the same beause the map is un-navigatable. This game is so heavy and laggy that the display keeps having a stroke.

But what if I want to make that porn game that uses Nvidia's Audio2face or ML deformer? Hm? What then? I think most people forget that some projects expand on a longer period of time, and not all expand just to milk supporters.
Wohoah, don't go revealing the master plan yet. I was already cautious before lol.
I look forward to hearing you complain about unreal with every second breath in the future, like every other unreal dev. lol.

You need to look for a column of blue light, it will show you the way
the issue is they are difficult to notice

I've noticed you can't see them until you're right next to them. An actual map would be nice too because it's extremely difficult to get hopelessly lost and there are mazes of random invisible walls everywhere. I did find her at the Comm Center but again she's just standing there. Did you figure out how to interact with her?

Just walk through them

Unfortunately there is a bug with the "Cargo Bay" way point, it won't register as picked up if you walk through it
I've reported it, hopefully it will be fixed soon

Walk through the invisible walls? The problem is I can't.
Ah, that's what you meant

yeah, you're going to have to find your way around the invisible walls
there is a path to it, you just have to find it, which isn't easy
best advice I can give you is stick to the pathways, hug the invisible walls until you find the open path
All I can really tell you is by doing that, I was able to find a path to it. It just took a while.

I've also reported this, hopefully the dev will remedy it.

I really hope this actually turns into a game and doesn't end up on the pile of abandoned ware because the dev bit off more than they could chew and got burned out. but I can see how UE5 has some really nice functions. Like Nanite not having to make all the LODs anymore. PCG also looks very cool. and with all the complaints about performance maybe the world portions need some tweaking.
I hope someone finally manages to make a good porn game. Because thus far none of the UE games has really managed to make a game that is good at both.

I honestly think I'm just going to abandon this until it's optimized. Getting to the checkpoints is a nightmare with the lag and sometimes the picture goes crazy and becomes static, then I have to restart.

Why do I get the feeling you understood everything I've said the other way around? I'm not complaining and not going to. :unsure: I've chosen Unreal BECAUSE it gives the least amount of problems in the long run and gives me the necessary tools to create, update and upload really fast. Especially UE5 and it's future updates. Nanite gets better and better, Lumen gets improved and less demanding, PCG, in the 5.2 makes world building a breeze, compiling is much cleaner, visual scripting got better in a lot of user scenarios and, when metahumans will be customisable and usable enough (not just a Lamborghini head on a pick-up truck body), creating a believable character interaction along with the already powerful world building tools, will turn this game in what I've been always wanted it to be: a triple A quality title.
It's easy to imagine a world, the hardest part is to bring it to life, if you don't have or don't know how to use the right tools. Well, I've spent the last two years finding and learning the right tools...

Hi everyone. So... I have a proposal... As probably most of you noticed reading the comments, there are a few thing needing polish or down right removed completely:
- Cargo bay waypoint not registering, even after the struggle of getting to it;
- Waypoints are hard to notice from further distances;
- Annoying invisible walls;
- Karla following your movement makes it harder to find the right spot to start the dialogue;
- Ray Tracing is ON by default, so it makes the game unplayable on most rigs;

The idea is that these can be changed by tomorrow, that is Tuesday, GMT+3, (I am enjoying a day off so...) but, the way the game is cooked and deployed right now, will mean downloading the entire thing again.

Considering that for this week's update, scheduled for Friday, there will be released for public testing the following:
- An expanded dialogue with Karla, whom you can ask and she will explain, in an... interesting way, WTF is this thing you're seeing on your monitor;
- voice acting and facial animations (don't expect Oscar performances, though);
- Photo mode;
- Save and load system;

my proposal is to wait until the scheduled day, to include all of the above, solve the bugs and, also, honor the other requests of the community, especially the options menu.

So, let's simulate a poll:

A. Ok, I know you're bullshitting, but I'll wait until Friday to rip your head off, you lying p.. of :poop:. Muhahahahahaaaaa :devilish:.

B. Just give me a dammed unbugged playable thing. You have until Tuesday to deliver! Unless...#$@&#%/!@ :mad:.

OK? So? What will it be?

And your super fast computer has what specs exactly? :unsure: Throwing a sentence just for the sake of it doesn't help me, the game development or the community... Specifics are recommended, if you want to help. Just saying...
