Yeah, and yet it was perfectly reasonable. Dare I say, well-written. Which is why it was so brutal. I noticed there are several endings. The ending you're probably talking about (Ending #4) can be avoided by simply changing the decision you made when you approached her on the couch late at night. There were 2 options, and one of them was to chew her out (verbally), which gives Ending #4. If you choose the other option, the story continues until you reach a typical "Stay tuned for the next version" screen.
There are several pivotal points in the story that changes the entire game. For example, you can have her friend pretty much removed from the story by choosing early on to ask your dad for advice instead of her, and then continuing to shun the next couple of options regarding her. You can also treat your mom like complete shit, which also changes the story and has her show less interest in the family and their scenes (for example, she will not join you in the shower after that 1 three-some scene if you've been dumping on her). It's deeper and has more branches than you'd expect from such a goofy game.

Depending on what route you take this game has some of the best writing in any Patreon game out there. The graphics may not be fantastic, but as far as a story that's not just typical "porn story" its fairly good, especially the last episode if you've not gone the Cath route and make the choice to go to the gym with the dad but have a good relationship with mom.

I want to echo this. The guy only has 65 patrons. And just $1 gets you access to everything he offers. The game didn't really start to get good until a few months ago, so most early adopters got a bad taste in their mouth (I thought this game was so outrageously trashy 3 months ago, now it's in my top 3). Even now, the dry comedy is so unique in this genre and people who just started reading it might think it's badly written drama until they get a feel for the writing style. High Jinx and Teacher's Pet are the only 2 others I can think of that play the dry comedy angle.
I tell people about this game every chance I get, and there's always a few people that say they played it during an early release and it was terrible. So, they have to be convinced to try it again.

I like his characters and the dialogue exchanges between them is pretty damn funny. I think the issue many people found with this game is it went 0-60 in like 2 updates. You can't just toss a
into boiling water, you have to slowly turn up the heat otherwise they will hop the fuck away. Right now his game is like a crazy train running full steam ahead and people who might want to get on board are scared away because
I think his best bet would be to finish this game off and start a new project with a slowed down pace and work on the quality of his renders some.
