Wow those ai art vs gif poll results really are shocking. I found the gifs super immersion-breaking, they don't take place in a medieval fantasy-style world, and they don't look like the characters who are supposed to be doing the acts.

Typically I like gifs in porn html games, they're in most other ones I've played (because most porn html games use real porn images instead of cgs), but games with drawn art styles have to tread very carefully with this. "Secretary" is able to do it well because they put a heavy stylistic filter over the gifs, and almost never use them so it never feels jarring.

Plus it's not like cg games even need gifs to be successful? There are so many super popular hentai games, none of which have moving imagery, that have done really well, even in this porn genre.

the only reasons I can think of as to why the poll results are the way they are, is that:

1. the war on AI art skewed it. (which i mean fair enough)
2. Porn brain. gifs are more stimulating than still images, and for the people who arent going to take this game seriously, pay attention to dialogue and just want something to nut to, that extra stimulation is all they're going to be looking for.
3. dev time, games that use real images/gifs are typically able to pump out updates a lot faster

then again I may be completely wrong, maybe people really do think the gifs just work.

I'd love for people to chime in and give reasons as to why they prefer the gifs, maybe the comments really are just a loud minority.

Aside from that, my honest advice. Stick to a theme, if you're going with medieval fantasy stick to medieval fantasy, add too many things that don't work in that theme, people are going to feel pulled out of your world and turned off from the game. It's easy to dig yourself into this hole by trying to please/appease too many people (or even trying to shove your own kinks in too much where they don't work). Listening to your players is important but they can often be misguided, don't turn your back on them, take constructive criticism (like switching out the snow bunny bbc stuff for more genre-appropriate terms/races, that was good advice), but don't let them micro-manage or write the game. Ultimately though, this game's your baby, keep the development and writing fun, don't worry too much about what everyone's going to think, and create your own best version of a quality product, it's the only way this game won't end up with an abandoned tag.

The game has good potential and I like your vision, I look forward to seeing where it goes in the future.

Answer to your first and second point.
I see the positives and negatives on both sides of using GIFs versus abstaining from them. Once version 0.3 is made public and version 0.4 is completed, I plan to conduct another poll exclusively for Patreon members. I have gotten some messages from them regarding GIFs. Their feedback matters significantly to me as they are actively funding the game's development. It's important to me to consider their opinions, ensuring they play a pivotal role in shaping the game's direction.

As to your third point. It's actually completely opposite. I am making my best effort to make GIFs somewhat similar to characters. Yes there are some scenes that don't go exactly hand to hand with the text but in general if the character is blonde the gif has a porn character in it. Or Cecily scenes have redhead in it and so on. The actual time with adding GIF's and Images takes almost as much time as writing the story and coding.

I am terribly sorry but, Dev, if you see this, please add a debugging option to your game. I have spent the last 40 minutes trying to fix the pornmag quest (if you miss the "shower" event right at the beginning of the game, you don't even have the option of masturbaiting, and it also breaks for me after the magazine got taken away and I try to masturbate). I wish you the best of success with the development of your game though!

It's gonna be very difficult to try to stop patrons from leaking the game. It happens with almost every game on this site. Patrons subscribe because they want to support the creator, they don't know how to access the leaked game, or because they don't want to wait for someone to leak the game every time a new release comes out, not because they need special benefits. The special benefits can be nice, but it's a near impossible task for even the biggest creators on this site to combat leakers. This might be harsh, but if the fact that leakers can do that is getting to you this might not be the format of game development you'd want to pursue...

NTR route is too fast, nothing is happening and than BANG HARDCORE NTR DRUGS PROSTITUTION RACE FETISH, everyone jumps straight into it with almost no development...With things at that level in 0.3 i have no clue how it will be in 1.0
Also, there will always be leakers, you should try to talk with them to at least wait a week or two. Some people doesn't have the money to pay for a patreon, the same way you don't have the money to pay a real artist XD.

Besides the salty i really hope the game goes into a nice direction, do your best!

There was a poll and 85% of players want the gifs to stay in the game so... that's that.

It is fast I agree. But so what. The purpose of this game is to be a PORN game. There is some development, not hours worth, but still an introduction to characters. Again this is a porn game. One of the hardest things is to find a perfect balance between trying to tell a story and have it being a porn material. I do see your argument, I did think about that quite a bit before starting. But I chose doing it this way for this game so yeah.

With 1.0 it might be actually completed. I mean. There might be part two, part three, what happens in 20 years in this universe when characters are all grown up, what happened 20 years ago. Also I might move into a whole another world in the far future or go back it's endless possibilities.

It's not a good comparison in my opinion that you are making with the leakers and artist. I will make every version available to the public. In the end everyone gets access to it. Having earlier access is an incentive for people to support the game development and leakers leaking that...

Because the dev knows they can only reproduce the same 4 or 5 images consistently with their free ai art generator, and will undoubtedly rely on image searching most of the action.

I'm not using a free generator. I'm using promtchan. And If you know anything about AI generated art then you know that 90% of images generated go to waste bc the are horrible and that 10% that I get a lot of that goes to the edit. So of course I will try to take the maximum effect out of that If I find a good image.
To your second point you are 100 % correct. (If you mean by that that I rely on gif's to display most of the actions.) I don't think it's a bad thing. People seem to like it.

With the next update Both Submission route and NTR route will get new scenes. I plan to make NTR route only about NTR as it should. So right now it is mixed with Submission route in version 0.3.
