1. Open folder named renpy
2. Open folder named common
3. Edit file named 00console.rpy (Can open with notepad)
4. Search for line config.console = False
5. Change false to True
eg. 'config.console = True'
6. Open game hold down Shift + O
7. To exit type Exit

I keep on getting batteries when I scavenge, but every time I get back to the house, they disappear. Already checked my storage too. Anybody having this problem?

For me they were bugged in the storage. I had to have something else in there like shampoo, then once I moved that to my bag, the batteries suddenly appeared.

Yes, but there is a graphics bug with the chest that prevents them from showing until you move something else out.

Keep an eye on the text at the bottom of the screen, it will say something like "that's it for now" or "next update", etc. This happens for a few events.
