Yes, especially if you compare the old artstyle and newer one they started employing a few years back to now, where both the art and sprites have far more detail and unique feel compared to earlier imagery, some of it still can be accessed in-game for comparison - strong artistic skill can carry shortcomings in other departments like the lack of sounds at the moment, but I am sure it will be changed later when there's more resources so to speak.
Now some other thing to revise at first - turns out the alchemist succubus is not weak as I thought - thanks to tripled resource gain when collecting fluids manually(both in-combat and otherwise), you can easily amass enough material to craft capacity potions, which increase your health/mana by 8 each total per craft, so combined with stability potions, you can keep going; naturally it means other professions are weak options due to fact you can only equip consumables on yourself, but it also means they have best usage for potions they make, even compared to other characters who cannot scale as fast, though this is offset by fact they can equip armor/weapons in the first place. So that's something I thought as weak actually is strong if you get it working but it takes a while to get either such high gene characters to collect from, or late brothel shows, which you get by first raising sexual skills and then doing shifts since low level shows are not worth their time unlike shift, which gives plenty of experience till you reach the 3rd or above rank, after which you can start shows that earn more than shift does. I would say, this character is much better than the gold consuming giant dragon character, since their gold growth is not as fast as theirs, and inability to do daily arena matches due to their giant size. Sure the starting stats are a major point, but when you cannot do daily arena, it prevents a consistent source of garuanteed money/experience options that normally is present. Or characters of sufficent genes to ressurect when you have the necromancer.
Still, compared to soul born human character, who can in theory attack as many times as they have access to cleanse/shift combo by having sufficent health/mana/max morale to keep going, that one is more consistent as opposed to getting and heavily relying on upgraded items to make that possible.
