I expected the new version to nerf the stupidly high power of energy boosting. It's game breaking.

There is a bug in 0.06:
There is enemy card that you can get rid off at the price of "Tap 2 companions". Once that card is "upgraded" it still says "Tap 2 companions", but is untappable.

Here is a quick guide for all "It too hard for me/I can't win" players out there:

When playing cards intentionally lose - conserve energy. Cancel only enemy cards that say spend/discard 2 or 3 cards.
With saved energy go to gym (20 energy per training) until you have maxed 200 energy total.
After that explore town and collect money. Upgrade money card in your deck and buy two or three other money cards and upgrade them too.
Once you upgrade all your money cards you should have no problems with energy or cash. After that upgrade influence and work cards.
By that time Cassandra will have 400/500 glory, but now you can play to win.
Explore city and collect companions. Visiting Cassandra (and later Tiffany) should be done only after you spent all your energy (just before you rest).

From here on out its just about reading sexy scenes - the game becomes easy.

Not true. I tried to find "bad game over". Didn't happen. Played a few days while Cassandra's glory was over 1200. Game goes on.
My bad, I wrote that part as an addition after reading the "how to play" section while writing my notes. Most likely the author didn't implement any of the endings yet so there is no glory score check. The first page of "how to play" in game says "The first one to 1000 will gets the position being fought over" so, I interpreted that as the intended end; based on the creator's other works anyway and as a result any game where someone has over 1000 glory on either person might break your save in future updates. I'll update my notes, thanks for telling me.

Well I really hope there is a change in direction going forward, it's 5 energy gained per 20 used. So if I need 200 before I get to do anything other than spamming that, I may as well play a QSP game. To each their own I guess. I'll look back when this game has art and maybe things have changed then otherwise I'll just look up the CGs.

What's the problem? "Grinding phase" finishes after 4-5 days of going to the gym, which is a really short time gamewise.

It's not as long as I feared, but I still find grinding in porn games rather tedious. It feels like filler. You go to x place and get y pic and z dialogue. Then go to the same place with the same pic and dialogue until you fill out a meter. I don't mind it so much in some JRPG's as the battles can be fun or if you simply get various pics or a feeling of you progressing. Like day one "it's really tough" day 2 "I'm getting somewhere" day 3 *someone approaches you and compliments you* it's small touches but it makes things more interesting and yes I know this game is in very early development.
