You have to first progress story with dad (ask him three times for money), read the book in parents bedroom, talk to mom a few times in the morning.
That's one of the issues of the android version. You'll only be able to enter Caroline's (Older Sister) room once without problems. The game is best experienced thru PC but the Android version is playable

Windows or Mac?
Just tested the mega & nopy links for Windows, and they both extracted fine. Either a problem with your connection, or the software you're using to extract.
