If you're talking about the ghost stage, one causes the girl that gives two souls upon capture to appear, the other will generate souls at regular intervals that you collect by clicking the locker when the soul appears.

i feel like it's bugged on my win11... if i leave the game and come back nothing is saved. I have to start over every time even though the 'game saved' message pops up

No, but if you want a good fix for not wanting to play the game's levels, I recommend highlighting all the game's files, and pressing "Shift and Delete" at the same time.
Can confirm, worked exceptionally well.

i need help, does someone have a full save? mine was corrupted or something, i had the 100% but when i tried to load my save again, the game crashed and the file just disapeared, i dont want to do it all again, please
