No, the two of this dev are already carbon copies of the tentacle locker series by HotPink (HotpinkGames?). I also remember vaguely two japanese games doing the exact same thing (one of them quite recent) and there was an ancient flash game with the same premises, not sure which one is the first, would require more research.

Ok random example...let's assume 100 people per year as buying customers per product:
Scenario 1
Release 1 tentacle game at $5
Year 1 - $500 profit.
Year 2 - $500 profit ($1000)
Year 3 - $500 profit ($1500)
Year 4 - $500 profit ($2000)
Year 5 - $500 profit ($2500)
Total ROI (Return on investment) over 5 years = $2500
Scenario 2
Release 1 tentacle game at $5, then take existing code and simply reskin the graphics (less time investment you know.) and release that alongside the 1st game.
You now have 2 games, very quickly produced at $5 each...
Year 1 - $1000 profit.
Year 2 - $1000 profit ($2000)
Year 3 - $1000 profit ($3000)
Year 4 - $1000 profit ($4000)
Year 5 - $1000 profit ($5000)
Total ROI (Return on investment) over 5 years = $5000.
