That was till Jan. 27th, this game should be labeled "On Hold", such a great game it's difficult waiting this long.There is an update on his patreon. He says the last one before update. Who's the hero?

I'm all in for making fun of devs like gumdrop, for instance.. but Veq is different, starting off he's practically working alone and has no experience with coding, I remember what I had to go through in school for java and sql so I can understand his pain, moreover as I recall he's even cancelled a couple months of patreon due to delays, I'm convinced at this point he works on this project out of passion and the end results are always well worth the wait, even if his content releases by the time we are all in the graves.
He may be slow as hell but I am a big fan of his work and he's yet to disappoint anyone with the quality of his updates. As long as that continues I think people will support him on patreon.

Legitimate criticism has been said time and time again and fanboys have countered with "legitimate" counterarguments. Notice the " ". I like the Veq, I really like the game's story, I don't follow the game just for the nice models and the mom-son incest, however what I don't understand a few things about his work flow. Compared to previous releases, he's taking longer( a lot longer, at least it feels so) and when people criticize or ask about that some people,like you, say that it's because he's a one man team. Okay. At one point, i personally, would most likely look to hire another person to at least help me out a little bit with the code so I can manage. With 620 patreons( at the time of writing this), I'm sure he can spare 5-10% of his earnings to deliver a faster and better product, to satisfy the people that pay him. Again, that's what I'd do in general. And again, compared to previous releases it's taking a lot longer again.
That's fine by me, it's not my business what people spend their money on.

I love his work as well. Cant wait for next update. He left us hanging at the door if I remember after collapsing.

This is one of my favourite games. I discovered it last year in April of 2018 played it after that i waited for the update a for very long time which didn't happen so I forgot about it. I rediscovered it recently in January this year played the update thought I would also become a patrion on next update so i kept waiting waiting till I found it's been 4 months again without any update after that I realised there has been only one update for last year. I don't think I want to invest in a game which will take 6 to 10 years to complete. I don't even know if I will play for that long. If he was consistent with his work he would have 2000+ Patriots by now. If he has difficulties working alone he can always split the work and deliver on a consistent basis then his revenue will be Sky High.
yeah i feel y'all.. i miss this game a fucking lot myself but i cant shake this feeling Veq is really trying and update will pop up any day. Sure it sucks and i hope he is thinking about increasing the size of his team but than again i totally get why he wouldn't want to do that, its hard to find legit ppl who have good of the game in mind and all drama that could come with it. Personally i'm scared to make that step myself...its not all shine and roses and with that perspective its easier to understand. I believe Veq wont let us down and he will be back rolling. Just a little faith, it wont kill us...
