Bro, it's a fucking Renpy game with DAZ models. Do you know why the Japanese videogame market is flooded with VN's like this? Because they're extremely easy to make. The only time consuming part of making a game like this is rendering, but since you can simply leave your computer while it renders it isn't much of an excuse.
There's tons of reasons why updates might take a while; full-time job, studies, a family to attend to, maybe something tragic happened, maybe health issues. Maybe a dev doesn't have the best of rigs to pump out renders rapidly, it could be that a component fried or whatever, there's dozens of reasons for delays.

Nah, there's pretty much 0 good excuses. If he genuinely wanted to work on the game he would've put out more than 10 minutes of content in the last half year. Even if he worked on the game 30 minutes every day for the last 6 months he probably would've finished it by now.
Actually, there's plenty of VERY good reasons. And just so you know, real life always comes first, it always takes priority.

Well maybe he has 30 mins per day and maybe he actually uses them, I mean we don't know it. The question is where on his Patreon does it say, that he releases an update in a certein time? You don't support him there, so he dishes out updates every month. You support him for his creation there and you get the rewards of the tiers you pledge for. It doesn't matter if he puts out an update monthly, weekly or every two years. It isn't stated anywhere. So if he takes too long for a supporter, he just has to cancel his pledge. Easy as that.
Maybe it takes longer than 30 minutes per each render. And maybe he can't leave the computer on to do its thing while he's out of the house, who knows, lots of reasons. But seriously, since you don't know what the hold up is, and neither do I for that matter, it's best to stop speculating, and especially stop with these messages of yours.
