Why aren't porn games protected under parody laws like porn films?

I remember several years ago 2 big budget porn films came out the same year and both featured Batman. One was inspired by The Dark Knight and won best drama and the other was inspired by the Adam West Batman from the 60s and it won best comedy at the AVNs that year and neither WB or DC comics said a goddamn thing because they were protected.
Pretty sure they are a form of parody, and should be protected as such. Can you afford the lawyers to fight Nintendo's legal team? Not many can, and that's how the large companies shut things like this down. They know an actual legal battle would go against them, but depend on the fact that almost no one but them can afford to fight that battle.

Strange, I have seen other Pokefuck parodies not get shut down, wonder what makes this one different? Daz3d maybe? All the ones I can think of had 2d graphics.
He was using actual Nintendo models ripped from the 3d games. Most pokemon parody's are hand drawn. I am most surprised that pokesluts has not been taken down yet as it is doing the same thing but not remaking the first game like this one was.

They can only shut you down if they can find you, why you post stuff like this under a internet alias n not link it to RL stuff, if your worried about legal stuff. Lmao hard to issue a CnD order if it's got no were to go to, and finding you is not the states responsible when dealing with issues of this nature the burden lies upon the plaintiff, not that Nintendo dosent have the resources to find you, just makes it a matter of resource allocation vs efficiency for them at that point. Particularly why a lot of parody stuff makes it to completion.

I believe this was the the thing that got them in trouble. Again it is a real shame, it was a fun game that had a lot of potential. Would of loved to have see what they could have done with other characters and 'mons (like MewTwo).

The whole nintendo thing is kinda sus. Game was buggy and grinding to a painfully slow creep in progress, then *coincidentally* they get the perfect get-out-of-jail free card in a legal warning? if I had been a patron to the project I would've been demanding some hard evidence of this stuff 'cause that's more than a little convenient of a way for the dev to drop the project without patrons getting pissed off.

To anyone looking for some context why this thread suddenly got updated again:

I was a Patron for Thunder One back in the day when he was making Leaf on Fire and had v0.2.02 sitting on my harddrive all this time. Today I learned that we only had up to v0.2 on F95zone, so I shared the 02.02 build with rf96, which contains a few more pokemon and some other fixes.

The game is still 100% abandoned since Thunder One had a cease and desist from Nintendo back in the day, and he decided he would stop working on the game as he was afraid Nintendo would go the extra mile and actually sue him. This was the very last build he ever made on the game unfortunately.

But now you guys can at least enjoy the last few Pokemon that got added, instead of only me enjoying it ;)
Thank you for sharing, I enjoyed this game way too much back in the day and it'll be nice to take it for one more spin.

I know it's really not what the game is about, but I love the mum character - is there anything more you can do with her other than kissing/ her groping you??

This was surprisingly one of my favorite and well done projects on this site. I appreciate the update, but now I'm reminded of project that wasn't lost due to the passion to finish. Just dumb, bad luck. He even made a name that sounds more like a Naruto rip-off than anything related to pokemon.
Such a shame....this website needs a lighter emoji for mourning abandoned projects.
...A brown coat emoji would work too.

Ah the JP Morgan Special: "We all know you'd win if you fought me in court, but we both also know you can't afford to fight me"

I know these are probably gonna be stupid questios, but I have to ask...

How did Nintendo even find out about the game?
Did some idiot report the Dev?
And why would Nintendo even care about this? It's not like it diminishes the integrity of the actual Pokemon games, or does it?
it didn't even have to be them. there are some lessay whiteknights, starting lawsuits and sending people faked C&Ds and whatnot. some even got sued for exactly that. the issue is, if it really comes to the court, notendo gets wind of it and then comes steamrollin' anyway. if you're not Beff Jesos you can't afford it.
