What a Pity. I really liked this game and its humor.

Is there a possibility to do a rebranding? I mean, Pokemon is not a state of art game and even if some parody is good, I think you can make your own game Pokemon stile getting rid of anything related to Pokemon lore. For example, use some kind of other device instead of pokeball (Sigils, cristals, the Ghostbusters trap, the Hellraiser cube), change city and character names and I doubt Yomitendo can do anything to you, as Pokemon game style is generic to tears.

Of course it's possible, but it's kind of a 'we have food at home' situation. Part of the draw was the Pokemon property.

Yet I have seen people playing and or commenting about it like it's not?
Well, sometimes, people will encounter a game after development on it has ceased for one reason or another. And they will start playing it, and, potentially, somewhere down the road from them starting to play, they will encounter an issue, or have a question or thought about the game, and seek to ask their question or share their thought.

They're not commenting as though development hasn't ceased, they're commenting as though they're playing the game. Which, oddly, is possible after development ceases. Crazy, huh?

Since it seems to say that Nintendo shut this game down, that means Nintendo found out about this game one way or another, right? That seems kind of wild knowing that a million dollar company actually found out about a porn parody of their product.

Been doing it for years. Look up Super Hornio Bros. Nintendo actually bought the rights for the films so they could halt distribution. I for one find it humorous that Nintendo may be paying someone to look at porn all day to find anything they can try to copyright strike.

I never really understood why the big companies like Nintendo, Hasbro, and Games Workshop make such a big stink over fan work. If the person making the fan work was doing it for profit, that would be one thing. But if it's simply a non-profit labor of love, then why bother?
