Despite the abandoned tag I decided to give this game a try. And I'm fucking glad I did, but also sad because it'll never have an ending. The "training" scenes are really well written and most of them are really hot. I can only imagine what the scenes with Mewtwo would've been like.

Also, what program was used to make the character models? Leaf is a cutie, but Misty takes the prize.

Dammit I have no idea why this post/review convinced me to play this game again despite the abandoned tag. I tried this game when it first started. Downloading now.

What irks me is, all it would take is one upload of the finished project, completed behind the scenes. Just one. And it's out there for good.
Maybe someday.
the dev had back then decided to drop it, completely, instead of possibly spending half a million and half a century in some legal limbo with notendo. imo he's got brains about it. they never care to WIN any of those cases; all then have to do is keep them lawsuits going, thus wearing down anyone they want.. that's pocket money for them.

but worry not, another project of the same dev is right here:
Tales of Terrara by ThunderOne

You don't have to tell me why, I get why. Fucking Nintendo and their retarded... everyone higher than mailjockey.
And yeah, I checked out ToT, but it isn't this.

I guess it's quite hard to do a similar game to this without pokemons. We have pokemon ecchi version but it's artwork is quite limited.

I know these are probably gonna be stupid questios, but I have to ask...

How did Nintendo even find out about the game?
Did some idiot report the Dev?
And why would Nintendo even care about this? It's not like it diminishes the integrity of the actual Pokemon games, or does it?

Nintendo has loads of lawyers and other staff that scours the internet to make sure no fun is allowed.

Projects like these should be covered under being a parody in my limited understanding of Copyright, but I guess if the developer is getting money for the work it can be Cease and Desisted.

They also have so much money that they can afford to keep throwing lawyers at small developers and they don't care if they win or not.

Indeed it is a parody, but got many elements of the actual anime (idk if pokemon manga exists, but it's the same). And trust me, these guys don't let ANYTHING happen without their approval. Sad but that's them.

By paying one of the companies dedicated to this.

And why would Nintendo even care about this?
Because most of their licenses, especially Pokemon, are initially intended to a young public.
Imagine you're the father of a 7yo boy/girl and while browsing the net with him/her in search of his/her beloved Pokemon you end finding this. It's something they don't want to happen, and in a way I understand them.

It could be, but parody will never stand face to the "our IP is for a young public, and this is pornography" card that Nintendo lawyers would then pull out.
In many case Nintendo would have lost, but when it come to porn parody it's more the opposite. It would be the right for parody against protection of the youngest, and it's not too hard to guess what would won, even in a really liberal country.

i knew, this game was "abandoned" but it still hurts to see. the dev's writing was spot on, the pictures and sex scenes were extremely well made. so much potential wasted because of notendo... i really like ToT, but its just not the same.

maybe a idea for the dev once he is finished with ToT. take a look at Temtem
i believe there are currently around 160 temtem to do with what you want.

or maybe take a look at nexomon! not sure if notendo has a finger in its development, but its worth giving a thought.

either way, leaf on fire will be missed.
