I forgot what part of the story he ask Erynn I want to say at the start during the pool scene with her mother. I think why she didn't want to answer could be for a few different reasons. Maybe cause of the trauma she has and Zane brings those bad memories back and doesn't want to make scene and crying Infront of the MC just thinking about a bad time in her life. Maybe while she still loves the MC he could of changed alot in 5 years. so she is uncertain if she still does want to be romantically involved with him just yet because of how Ethan changed to be nice and friendly and went back to his old ways when she wouldnt date him. So maybe her trauma is causing her to be hesitant and doesn't want to send any signals that she is available just yet. Could be a number of reasons really but those are the ones that stand out the most to me why she wouldn't want to answer that question.

I feel Zane is to much of a unknown at this point in the game, other than he is the butterfly effect that started Erynn down the road of blackmail , escorting , trauma , going to Prom with Ethan. That's why I feel Zane would only be a bad memory for her cause I would think be hard not to think of all the negative and it lead to as she would recall Zane is the first boy she had sex with and regret she did because of what it lead it. That would out way any positive or good memories she would have of Zane.

I feel we can't be certain that was Valeria(though it did look like her), with a beach date on the way it's a great opportunity for Zane to be there and we will probably have the answer to this question and what are they to each other, does Valeria flirt with him too? Is Zane also Gym bro?
Valeria had already met Nikki(with the MC) so even if she caught a glimpse it's nothing new for her, plus the make out didn't happen at that spot, they went behind some trees(weird if she kept following).
We also can't be sure who Val likes better yet, she might be playing the field just like a fuckboy MC(a little less eager to jump into bed).
But things like being latino, speaking spanish and a pretty good sprinter work in his favor with Val.

Also a good chance for an awkward encounter between Erynn-Zane-MC if you are taking Erynn to the beach instead, opportunity for us to "mark our territory".
I don't feel like Erynn dating him needs much justification, the MC was gone, he's good looking, he's forward(and she wasn't traumatized back then) and most importantly he isn't Ethan, everyone looks like a great option in comparison lol.

I wonder if the girls will learn of our plans to visit Nikki/Cara on saturday? And how they will react to that, also "marking their territory" or disappointed?

if it is Valeria, it means she lied to MC when she said she never went to the beach before he brought her. so that would be an interesting development, as she seems to be also lying, or at least hiding stuff, to her other male candidates. though it seems Nyx said it isn't her. honestly, I would actually like it to be Valeria, as it could add to a potential "broken" girl persona, with how her romantic views were warped by the relationships of her mother and her mother's best friend, and with daddy issues. there is no cliché "i can fix her" girl in this VN, even Tori doesn't fix the bill here

i think we visit riverside on friday, maybe even thurday, and leave to visit Nathan on saturday. the only way for the girls to learn that MC went to visit Nikki and Cara would be if MC or his mom tells them. they could learn it later if Nathan tells Lakeyn who then tells Alexis and Layla, but Nathan is not the kind to snitch on MC even by accident.

Damn, I would love to see a confrontation between Nathan and Zach after MC told Nate what Zach did... xD Also, when the whole school learns what Zach did to MC. I wonder how Layla and Elena and Val will react, especially in the cases of MC not being friends with them anymore

I think, it could also be a bad memory because she actually hurt him a lot... she basically dumped him after their first time, out of nowhere, not giving any reasonable explanation. and going to the guy she said she hated the most. she might feel very guilty about that too.
also, starting dating Zane means that she gave up on her hope of MC coming back and forced herself to move on even though she could not without having real closure. so she is stacking trauma upon trauma there. when she discovered he was back for real, her reacting seemed pretty tame. We might get a scene with her real reaction later, from her POV, I think, when we get further down her path.

I think it would actually be an interesting twist if Val knew Zane too and has been flirting with him at the same time she flirts with the MC.

One way either girl could know is if they ask "so what are you doing tommorow/what are your weekend plans?" and that would give us the option of saying the truth or going with "visiting Nathan".
When it comes to Erynn i can totally see Emily barging into the room just to say "do you need me to drive you to airport?" and Erynn learning of the trip this way, Emily specialties are cockblocking and putting her foot in her mouth after all.

Val is a bit more difficult logistically, she has never been to our home, unless the aftermath of the beach is gonna be the first time...

Val is definitely not a hoe. and I agree, a popular girl actively playing the field is interesting. especially since she also needs it to rebuild a social life in a new city she might have been forced to move to. It even seems like her relationship with MC is the most advanced one, and the quickest one, to her own surprise.

yeah, the schedule of MC is weird during the phone call with Nathan. it is thursday night as the end of the update, and MC says he will visit Nikki/Cara for a couple of days and drive to visit Nathan on Saturday, spend the day and spend the night. so to be able to actually do that he would have to fly there on the thursday but it's already too late. and he has the beach date the next morning too, so he can't leave before the afternoon and with a 6 hour flight, he'd arrive only Friday night. if he wants to spend quality time with his girl, he would have to spend the whole saturday with her. so maybe he will go visit Nathan with her? or move Nathan to sunday.

MC has to go running with Layla to make plan for a future date too, so he might have to cancel on Layla and tell her about visiting Riverside there. maybe even just after telling Erynn he loves Layla more cascading drama xD

Nathan could talk to Lakeyn after MC visits and after she comes back. it can be a delayed revelation, like Nyx often does.
Also, Lakeyn and MC can meet in the airport when he comes back and she returns to Alvarado if she only came to spend the weekend.
I also think Lakeyn is the one being picked up at the airport. it could be their dad, but it's more likely to be a drama catalyst for MC. both sisters have the day already reserved for that mysterious person. if it was their dad, they wouldn't spend it all on him. but their cousin coming to visit for the whole end of spring break would definitely be a good reason.
I would add that knowing that her favorite canvas now lives in Madison Springs could be a trigger for Lakeyn to decide to move and open her personal shop in the same city. coming to visit for many days would also allow her to scout for potential spots. or plot twist : she could become the new manager for Emily's café xD

Layla was very curious about their destination. if John is the one that saved MC, it should have been mentioned without naming Zach. Erynn learns what happens in detail, Zach being the one that brought MC there should have been discussed. MC dodging the subject is very weird and unnatural. I'm guessing there will be some form of forgiveness pinning everything on Ethan being manipulative. if it does happen that way, I would be very disappointed.

I'm willing to believe that Erynn actually fantasized about having a romantic relationship with MC during all the years after Zane. Probably even shared that with Alexis. In that case, she most likely built up an ideal version of MC in her head. not actually believing it would happen, as she gave up on his return. and when he really came back, it brought back that fantasy and all the associated potential feelings in full force all at once. and hence, she does know what she wants out of MC, but having been burnt once, she could be wanting to check if MC is anything like her ideal version. and because her first contact with him after he came back was to discover that he DIDN'T contact her right away and didn't seem in any hurry to do it, and that he was forced to breakup with a loving girlfriend with lingering feelings, it's a huge stepback compared to the ideal reunion.

Zane's primary reason to be at the beach is surfing, hooking up with chicks who happen to be there is a bonus.
So no matter who we are taking with us it makes sense that he's at beach no matter what.
Obviously the interactions should change from Erynn to Val.

Val would be the most realistic girl around if it's proven that she shops around instead of putting all her eggs in the MCs basket, a girl this hot would have her DMs full 24/7.
The other girls of Intertwined are all about this one boy and shut everyone else out, on some cases it makes sense due to prior history, or because they are inexperienced... but it would be interesting if Val was different from this mold.

Also not too sure about the schedule for the next few days, morning>beach, where i'm from a beach day usually pushes into the afternoon, dinner time or even a bit past that, specially "problematic" with Erynn who likes to hang out at the MCs room after the planned events, MC is gonna need to kick her out lol.
The reasonable time to set a flight would be late afternoon so arriving at night in Riverside.
I guess it's spend the day with Nikki/Cara and see Nathan during the night, double date style.
The return trip is also very vague, sunday morning or afternoon?

Since Alvarado is suppoused to be a shithole, according to Iris, MC and Nathan, not much in the way of entertainment, no good clubs, just that lake that seemingly no one goes to(Iris and MC were alone there) i can see Lakeyin moving for good to Madison Springs, the fact that she has family here gives her solid footing to start over find a job while she gets money for another shop... or "Uncle Santiago" can give her an advancement since he seems to be swimming in money.
I'm curious how the next interaction of the Layla path will be, we haven't talked to her at all after taking her cherry, not even a how are you feeling phone call... and likely the MC still freaked out thinking she's his sister.
If the MC keeps acting distant after that it's sure to make her feel "used".

The MC is keeping his mouth shut about Zach so far, and i don't think it's unnatural, he just doesn't feel like sharing... maybe with Erynn since he does talk about having fought Ethan.
But when school re-starts surely the girls are gonna notice the frosty relationship... perfect timing.

I'm willing to believe that Erynn actually fantasized about having a romantic relationship with MC during all the years after Zane. Probably even shared that with Alexis. In that case, she most likely built up an ideal version of MC in her head. not actually believing it would happen, as she gave up on his return. and when he really came back, it brought back that fantasy and all the associated potential feelings in full force all at once. and hence, she does know what she wants out of MC, but having been burnt once, she could be wanting to check if MC is anything like her ideal version. and because her first contact with him after he came back was to discover that he DIDN'T contact her right away and didn't seem in any hurry to do it, and that he was forced to breakup with a loving girlfriend with lingering feelings, it's a huge stepback compared to the ideal reunion.

I don't know, Erynn in that first day at Melissa's pool seems to just want to be friends like before and the fact that the adult MC makes her wet , might be slightly disturbing to her.
Between that day in the pool and the point when the Alexis betrayal gets revealed the split between "i just want my friend back" and "we could be more than friends" is increasing all the time.

I do think the MC that exists in her head is very idealized perfect man(that doesn't really exist) so everytime she sees him do "wrong" it hurts her.

Which was a surprise for me since it felt like they kissed so often in the recent update almost as much as the MC slaps her ass throughout the entire game . It was a welcomed surprise tho. I do think her sudden change is because while she freaked out prior to that , she might start to think she needs to allow things to move forward if she doesn't want to lose him and get out of her own head for and not to worry so much around him. After the end of episode 11 I feel she started to realized he does actually care for her and respect her boundaries .

I agree, she freaks out in that scene, afraid that what just happened might hurt change their relationship.
But the MC manages calm her down and convince her this was a good thing, a natural thing, and the scene ends with her happy and playful, teasing each other and sharing secrets.
Which carries on into episode 12 and how she's a lot more relaxed about these things.

Val would be the most realistic girl around if it's proven that she shops around instead of putting all her eggs in the MCs basket, a girl this hot would have her DMs full 24/7.
The other girls of Intertwined are all about this one boy and shut everyone else out, on some cases it makes sense due to prior history, or because they are inexperienced... but it would be interesting if Val was different from this mold.

Been a while since i'd played. Very happy to see lots of progress since then with 'Elena'.(Up at the top in both looks and personality) Not sure if it is just my memory playing tricks but has the hottub scene radically changed from before for the better. Definitely felt like i was on her path rather than on Laylas, which bothered me early in the game. Hopefully the final Layla roadblock can be cleared in the next update.
