hongfire was such a good site to download games but unfortunately it got worse and worse and be hacker and spam but then found anime-sharing(.com)(there are a lots mods) it is much better than hongfire and now dont use anymore honfire.

If hongfire is die then all will for sure go to anime-sharing. would love see to here. this site is very well site with a very easy control, but best way is keep to stay like now. focus on a very popular site with VN homemade games. ;)

we should be glad that happened! Hongfire was a mess, and it only split the community in different places. Now people can go somewhere SAFE and organized.

This is so sad. I was active in Hongfire for years. I uploaded all my mods there... What the hell do I do now? After the attacks I felt like my home was slowly dying... Now I feel homeless... I hope that hacker rotts in hell... Don't even know where I should upload my HoneySelect Mods anymore, there is no site like that. I know there is kenzato.uk, but sure as hell I'm not gonna upload something to some site with a .uk domain... It's just a matter of time until it's down.

i remember when HF went down few years ago,
HF modders & site staff used anime-sharing as a back-up place.

Yeah, I was there too, but Anime-sharing is no comparison. It lacks of modders and subforums. Like you said, it was just a back-up for that crisis... But now the crisis became a apocalypse.

what about discord?
iv ran into a bunch of Koikatsu HF modders recently on that discord channel that i got from HF,
i remember there was a
mod release section,

HoneySelect probably has its own small groups.

upload your shit here. just talk with a mod or so and maybe he will give modders like you an own thread in the offtopic section or so where you guys can link your mods ^^.

would be cool to have all the modders here on f95zone.

Yeah, and that's the issue. Discord may have some small groups that go their own ways, that doesn't help for bigger issues, where a huge community and certain experts could and would help with their advice. Also I was never able to really establish myself in and with discord, that concept is way too strange for that old man here.

Hehehe, I already took a look into the mod section here (yes there is one already)... Which is basically just one subforum where every mod to every game can be posted... So basically it's unclear chaos. In my opinion it's not worth to upload and post here, as long as there are no subforums sorted by games. Otherwise the mods would just drown. And honestly I'm not that kind of person that annoys some random mods to change their great forum, especially as pretty newb here. When they think it works that way, okay. Also I had the sensation that f95zone tries to avoid attention. A living mod community could lead to the opposite.

hmmm how about creating a thread that bascially serves as a collection of all mods of that specific game? better than nothing i suppose? btw. f95zone has more than 1 and a half million accounts registered already. with that amount of people you can't avoid attention anymore. you can only prevent tripping on landmines like games with underage porn. the modding of a game doesn't fall into that category.

other than that i will just quote Sam. let's see if he has an idea or so. personally i would love to see an own lil' section for you modders!

A subforum dedicated to HS mods wouldn't be an issue, however we'd need to know that there is a big enough userbase there and who are happy to use our forum for it.
hah, i knew it. good to know that you leave the door open if enough modders want to have their own subforum.
thanks for the heads up.

Well, you've clearly got some points here. :3

I can only speak for myself, I'd be happy to find a new home here for my mods and maybe, a new living modder/moduser community.

Ah I fondly remember the autistic discussions about Keynesian vs Austrian economics that went on there for pages on end
