When I put the save file in the save folder, the game doesn't recognize it
that is normal. you have to have a save in that slot before it will be recognized. Make a save of anything. Then replace it with the provided one. Make sure you save in the correct slot.

Anybody have a link to original (jp) ver 2.0 of this game?
I want to test my new translating program on it. :geek:

God yes. That's what this game, no, this site needs: another fucking machine translation.
Without the so-called "fucking machine translation" there would not be even 80% of the well-translated games. Especially RPG.
Other translators cause a bunch of errors or/and increase an already time-consuming translation. My translator should provide a slightly better machine translation, providing an automatic translation already with the corrected code/regular expressions inside the dialog lines, etc.

Feel free to share when your done. I would love to see how the program doesn't break this very script intensive game, because no offense I expect any MTL done on this without manual intervention is going to end up just as broken as the original attempt was. what is the name of this wonderous software out of curiosity? I am actually legitimately curious to look at this software if it indeed does what you claim it can.

Just in time! I just need a complex game (in terms of scripts) to make more changes to the editing algorithm. Everything I tested my program on is on two games (Amarina's Adventure and Rena's Work) from one developer.
They turned out to be simple and only 5-10 lines had to be manually corrected in the Scripts translations.
Therefore, it is very important for me to test this game.
So, all, what I need now is latest JP version of the Desire Eater. If someone have v2.0, then that would be great.

I don't have the latest version can't help you. You can always search the usual torrent / Japanese game sites though. Also this game is MV so how are you going to solve the fact that the game utilizes plugins for certain UI elements. most MV games do and translation software can't touch them.

The original translation request thread has a torrent: https://f95zone.to/threads/desire-eater-rj270106.46619/
I have no use for the japanese version though so I don't know if it's still active or the right version.

Ah well, that was about as much effort as I'm willing to make for a porn game who's thread I'm unsure how I even started following...
I don't blame you. I checked for curiosities sake. didn't find a 2.0 torrent or one that was labeled as such at least. I am sure I could find one but not really interested in doing so right now.

Yeah, after first looking at lines in the Translator++ I understood what you were talking about. I opened a couple of other games on the same engine (RPGM MV), so there is much less code. In additional, in Desire Eater even conditional operators are not stingy inside the lines...

Yeah, I'm getting lines via Translator++ and after that I process them with my programs. So, of course, I cannot process UI elements either.

To my slight surprise, my program fit almost completely for this game as well. Only minor edits were required, and even those took a little longer, since a couple of days ago I had absolutely no experience with translating any game on the RPGM engine.
However, after spending only 2 hours I was able to achieve results on the textual part. I didn't play the game until the very end, but for some reason I am sure that It should now work completely in terms of scripts, dialogues, etc. (For example, the system of clothes and hairstyles no longer causes errors.)
I attach the archive with the 'data' folder along with translation.trans file.
I ask someone to test and tell me if the game is working better now.

So do I just drop it into the game files or something? I'm down to try it out.

Here is a thread with a game that already has the translation you are interested in. The link leads to a post with a patch for the game interface translation. The labels of the city 's regions have not been translated yet (In progress...).
And yes, this is just machine translation. I recommend you to wait for the manual translation from Silentce.
