As for releases, I'm intending to have very short releases, containing a few scenes or so.
The thinking is that it'll hopefully keep the momentum going, though I still can't guarantee regular updates. I'll also provide specifics in a changelog, so you can decide whether to skip the update or not.

Yeah. I also think it's a bit of trust issue. I mean that you've got to trust that the dev will allow you to avoid situations, and won't overstep the allowed content.
It's a shame, as I think that you need antagonists to push some stories on. Even if they're not an antagonist, another male inevitably brings a situation, or other characters, with them.

This poll was ridiculous and useless, because the result was set in stone from the moment it went online! The majority of F95-Users are (sexual) inexperienced with no confidence in their own (and their dick)! This is one of the reasons, why almost all MC in several games have a super-sized dick, because those guys think, that a women needs a 17cm - 30 cm (7in - 10in) dick to cum! But this is bollocks!
If - of course from your point - cucking or cockblocking makes your game better, because it helps to deepen your story, than you should implant it into your game! There will always be a Mod to hide NTR (cucking/cockblocking, etc.) for those people, who don't like that stuff!

Normally I'd agree that a poll of this sort is ridiculous, but I'm not sure who is voting on these polls.
Is it the vocal minority who are only interested in a free game populated by a single man, updated every day or hell mend the developer?
Or is it those who are interested in helping shape a porn game with their own, and others, kinks included?
I paused slightly before polling on this topic. We've all seen how this is like throwing chum into shark-infested waters, especially with the lurkers who smell a pile-on. However the polling numbers are low. Very low. It's only broken into the double digits a few times.
Given the low numbers, there was a chance that the poll could buck the trend of outrage and, wait for it, the poll was evenly split until the last vote. So it wasn't so cut and dried.
The cuckolding aspect, for me, was simply another plot device to trigger buttons (e.g. MC's mum doesn't truly open up till MC's dad is aware and powerless to stop it).
However this is all about crowdsourcing. If it's polled, the result stands.
MMF. This is kind of intrigues me. The reasons for its rarity i mean.
Is it simply part of the NTR thing, or is it that the players care for the female characters? So, sure, I'm going to debase her with my cock, but no-one else, cause that would be unfair.
... It's probably is the NTR thing.
Some of the polling decisions have been a surprise, most haven't, but I'm liking the experience and looking how to include more feedback.
My thinking, at the moment, is that I'd like to do this again. No matter if this VN flops or not. And hopefully then I'll be even more surprised by the poll results.

Well... I did have the MC press the button of the nurse, but that was to introduce the concept.
Otherwise, if you push the button, there will be an option to stop the action (if you don't like the results).

So, now that you've voted on visuals, initial adult content, family characters and many others bits, where can this continue to be crowdsourced? Secret polls, that's how.

The reason for this is to balance crowdsourcing with letting you enjoy the VN. Or at least have a few surprises.
The first few characters have already been scripted with their sexual quirks, but not all. The next poll will decide the family's.

Blind polls sounds just nice as it would ruin the whole fun if we'd know everything about everyone. I don't wanna know what kind of fetishes each girl are into or will be into or how much reluctance/resistance will they put up and such so a suprise/interest/mystery factor must be preserved. Luckily its not hard, you just poll a kink or a personalty and never tell which girl will have it. A poll doesn't have to belong to the next girl in line who is about to be introduced and so on.
I'm happy to hear that this won't be about the close family exclusively. Non-family characters expand the possibilities tremendously. Even if this is just the distant future, its nice to know that the base setup won't be strictly confining.
