The next content drop is set for the end of this month. But devotion scenes (and presumably the remainder of the pandora scenes) will be in 1.0

honestly, having seen what they're putting into subverse, it really feels like the quality of their work has been at a standstill for years while many smaller creators have completely eclipsed them. maybe we'll see that metroid animation that's supposedly been just around the corner for 8 years before metroid prime 4 comes out. anyways if they really wanted to blast my balls off with a shocking announcement, let's see a second gay animation
until I see a movie from them for me they are SCAMMERS, as a former supporter I had all their wips :Samus ,Tina and horse, witcher (they promise 3 movies) ,kunoichi 3 , Mai ,Honoka, Marie Rose ,Olga Discordia, Catwoman etc , we get shit ! nothing only excuses and promises ! Now after months of that 10 years trailer they didnt get money for their projects , still no wips or something from them to see that they care about their fans

I mean blender can make anyone’s art look good with the right settings and PC, so it’s not a very high bar. Now think of how few of those blender folks animate and how even fewer do anything beyond a few minutes.
Dunno where the impression that the Metroid film is just around the corner. even if it were, it’d have to come out quietly like the Zelda one, since Nintendo’s a very litigation-heavy IP holder.

If FOW in past years would come with clips ( 5-6 min.) with hot girls from games (no problem in this part), Ada,Claire, Dragon Age saga girls etc ,look guys, we didn't forget about you, many fans would understand and support them ,but they didnt give two sh.. until now! You can't ask 80k for a movie without showing something strong, and not after you put on ice or suspended so many projects for wich the fans paid to see them done ! Lack of respect ! I hope I am wrong, but they will milk their ,,game,, for few more years and after that they will be gone like a fart in the wind !Unlike the porn in Subverse, where they don't animate anything beyond a few seconds!

Also if they were all lengthy animations it wouldn’t make the devotion mission rewards any more special. That’s how you scale properly. The basic scenes make the premiums stand out, and the premiums make you think ‘gee it’d be nice if these were longer and uninterrupted by me needing to click stuff’
let see I they will come back to do parodys ,fist thing what put them on the map ... like I said lack of respect from them, look at ZM,26 region, cumkeys and others how they treat their fans.
They GAVE us some high quality contents, Yes. They also totally turned their back to their promises (KP:4,5,6 hinted in the movies), Samus? Jessica Rabbit in REAL Actions? I mean, PRODUCE what they PROMISED first, then ask for funding on Newer projects seemed a logically, more mannered way to work???

I don't have a problem that Subverse has short animations, my problem is I have to play through a shitty harem game with a annoying main character to get to the good monster stuff I want from Studio FOW, and then it doesnt even have any connection to the story or game. I supported the game on kickstarter and didn't think it would be like what it is. It's better to watch them on video sites since there's no difference between watching them in game or online.

Never ceases to amuse how this began with ‘how dare you fling insults’ and then proceeded to fling insults.
Yeah they made a movie first before they made their Patreon. 10 years ago. Between 2 people (DC and Yagskie). But if they’d made Kunoichi and those numbers didn’t go up? That period of creation would have likely stopped right then and there.
Where oh where did the money go after Patreon pulled the plug? DC used their reserves to ensure the team members back then kept getting paid (because again, no one works for free). They had already planned to give us a game, the Patreon going away just changed everything.
Could they have just moved to a different site? Maybe? But back then there weren’t as many options as there are now. Subscribestar (2017), Onlyfans (2016), Fansly (2020) weren’t as popular or known as well as Patreon (2013). It’d have been a gamble either way, but the odds of rebuilding via a lesser known site versus what they chose to instead would have been much slimmer 10 years ago.
And for the love of god saying films got ‘cancelled’. In all their time and project listing, none of them ever did. The only one that never saw the light of day was a flash game that never was officially announced and could only have been seen listed on the old trello board.
If they were ‘cancelled’ why were Lara (who earned a remake via patreon milestones), and Honoka and Marie Rose (two previously confirmed projects) in the 10th anniversary trailer? Mixed together with some new ladies because hey a lot more games
came out since the last they did one, look at the potential field now.
As trigger happy as Nintendo are at suing over fan games, did you just expect them to announce hey the Samus film is going full steam ahead for all the world to see? No, because they already dealt with Blizzard and they’re not looking for a repeat. You’ve seen other creators have to backtrack and cover up their works for the same reason (see Hiveship by LordAardvark and how long that’s taking to be a reality, spoilers: it’s been just as long as fow’s existed).
You need to relax and look at their situation realistically. This is not just a single person coasting on a hefty Patreon income. This is a business, comprised of a team of people, all who still need the money to keep them alive and making things for us. Y’all see 80k as asking for too much, but the average income a year for a person in America working for 15
bucks an hour is 31k. So divide that among the team for rent or mortgages, food, and their general well being and maybe you can see why they can’t just produce something for free in this
Day and age.
Learn some empathy and stop assuming you know how this process works. I doubt any of us have ever run a company, suddenly have its funding lost, and kept it going through not only through a period of no extra funding, but a game development that also included a pandemic on top.
We will see if they will return to do movies, time will tell.Better comunication from them and not empthy words, to many projects havent see the finish line,all this time, the fans support them,with money, a normal thing to do. I in all those years they would give the fans some small projects: 5-6 min clips , many fans would give them now money for those movies, it is simple !26 region for exemple gives the fans small clips even if he works on bigger projects( Mai movie for exemple): if I am not mistaken he give a Ciri and orc clip :

It was an elective choice. But then we don’t know how the game will look at 1.0 there’s been much talk in the dev blogs of changing the planet exploring and the text/rewards that accompany them.
Yeah the monster stuff wasn’t gonna be as up front as the vanilla stuff. But if it had, well you’ve surely seen the numerous complaints in the game thread claiming it to be NTR.
They haven’t forgotten who they are, the anniversary trailer certainly showed that. The cheeky line from Marie Rose and Honoka’s bit about it ‘not having any demons in this one’ hints at their future xD but they played it safe on Steam because they did not want to chance any possibility of the game being removed.
Ya may not like it, but ya gotta understand it as a business move.

M8 half the point of the game was to learn and get good at unreal engine. It wouldn’t have served a purpose to take time away from the game to do something else before it was done.
If they had, there’d have likely been game fans crying out that they’re not focused on finishing. Taking in extra income during development is exactly why star citizen is taking forever to finish.
Completing the game has to happen, else not only do they fail the backers that funded, they’d shoot their own reputation down.
