Ok. I downloaded Daz 3D this morning after reading a whole bunch of posts. Played around with a few renders and this is the first one that is semi-acceptable, using only free resources that came with the game and one slider allowing for more modifications of the facial appearance. I am trying to get the genitals and pubic hair to work so that I can make her more complete, but I need feedback from the creators. I'm using the Golden Palace genitals and matching pubic hair, but following the directions, they are not appearing on the model. If anyone has experience with this mod, it would be helpful. The model shown here is based off the Genesis 8 base model. This work is based off of literally around 1-1 and 1/2 hours of tinkering with the software. This is my first go at doing 3D, although I have been working in the 2D world since Photoshop 2.0.

GoldenPalace isn't a MOD it's an Asset.;)

To make GP work make sure u a re using a Genesis 8 Figure or a charater based on said Figure.
Select the hole character. And Apply the GP Genitalia (People/Genesis8Female/Anatomy/GoldenPalace/).
After that keep the character selected and apply the GeoShell. and last but not least apply the materials. They are also named with 1, 2, and 3. To apply the pubic hair, select the Genitals and apply the hair you desire.

There are different fields you have to tackle. My general advise to every newbie is, go to the DAZ Forums and start with the new user challenges. You learn all about the different fields and every month focusses on on field particular. I would say start with composing. learn about the rule of thirds, the golden spiral and some other methods to design an apealing motive before you hit the render button.
My next step was lighting, here I would say, learn about the Three Point Lighting Set Up. The thing photographers use. It is the most versatile studio set up and can also be transfered to outdoor scenes.

Hmm I really don't know in what package it was. I just have it in acesories at Daz. Must be part of some piercings acesories asset.
She have more between boobs :)

I did RTFM and I followed the steps that you indicated above (1, 2, 3), but nothing changes on the model. This model is a stock Genesis 8 model, with minor shaping changes to the body. Just to eliminate the possibility that shaping was causing this, I reset all the body shaping to defaults, and even turned off minor glute changes (applied in GP). I could see in shaping/hips that the GP asset for glute changes was installed and working, however the shell does not appear to be applied. I even moved it to the top layer, thinking maybe it was lurking behind another layer, but no luck. I also have the character in a pose where I can see the labia area clearly. Could that be impacting it?

Never mind this request. I downloaded another model and tried to apply the genitalia and it worked like a charm. Must be something busted with my original Genesis 8 model.

Sometimes that's a quick fix by uninstalling and re-installing some of the base asset packs, I had to do that to fix some weird errors with my base G3M.
