Don't shot the messenger, that is the disclaimer message on the OP
I guess that your saves come from before Yumiko introduction and were not updated from the previous version. That might be the reason.

Without more information or an error report it's just guesswork.
Did you use 7zip to unpack the archive? If you didn't, try that. Or you could try to run the game as administrator.

The problem seems to be that the game crashes on loading an 1.2.0 save before the version upgrade even runs. In this case I can ignore and see that Yumiko is in the bar on Monday. Likely the display builder references something about her before the version upgrade code has a chance to add it.

To fix the problem with the inactive buttons, open the console and type:
menu_active = False
This will reactivate the buttons.

Press ignore and most of the time it works. If it doesn't, use another save.

Yumiko 6 PM appointment : the pictures are missing.

The event has not been implemented for Yumiko. The error is that you are able to start it in the first place.
I've changed the code to only make it available for Jennifer.

I don't get the display of the version upgrade code running. Are you sure it is safe to continue?
I tried a 1.1.1 save with the 1.2.0 code and get the version upgrade message, from version, to version and adding Yumiko.
I tried the same save with the 1.3.0 code and get just the error and no version upgrade message at all. Surely this is wrong?
