do you mean that i got to win each tournament 3 times to get 3 of each jewel?, because i have one of each for beating them once so maybe it was that but if not, nothing happened after that and that was the problem i had.

To promote to legendary rank you need to win the tournament that takes place at the end of the year, to participate you need one of each gem, the tournament is called something like the "winter tournament" or "christmas tournament". It's a special event to determine the strongest monster that year, not a regular promotion match that anyone can take part in every couple of months.
If you have one of each gem just keep passing time till the "winter tournament" or "christmas tournament", I don't remember the exact name, pops up, participate and if you win you'll be promoted to legend rank.

The tournament is always referred to as christmas tournament in dialogue, as Holy Night tournament in the selection screen when I had a female monster, and I think it appeared as Winter tournament in the selection screen when playing with a male monster. The name is inconsistent but when the day arrives your assistant will tell you it's the day for the legend rank tournament, so don't worry too much about missing it.
Unrelated question has anyone been able to figure out what you need to do to get the human girl's netori scene? I've managed to get all the monster girls, but I just don't understand what the human girl's second hint is supposed to mean at all I've tried a lot of stuff but nothing seems to work. Here's the hint: "perform sparring while fulfilling the other"
It sounds like it's supposed to mean beat her while she cums, but if that's the case than she's too bugged to unlock, since for whatever reason the game just doesn't register the Defeat-Climax number for specifically her, at all, it registers how many times she's cum during fights, and registers the Defeat-Climax number for all the other girls but her Defeat-Climax stat always shows Zero for some reason, wondering if I need to do something specific or the character is just bugged out.
Edit: just some advice for people doing the netori routes
-For anyone stuck on the small crow girl's requirments, you need the flower monster's "foolish eye" move(lowers intelligence), and the Imp's "devilish whispers" move(lowers love for their trainer). Bringing it up since they were the only other character that I struggled to figure out.
-For the make the girls need to pee modifier, the only modifier that needs a specific monster but doesn't tell you which, you need the flower monster.
