Why should the quick menu be forced on the player? It's fucking ugly when all the menus are big on the screen. I never play with the quick menu on. Let the player choose if they want to see that or not. Now you can't even edit it with URM to hide it.

EDIT 1: The rollback ON/OFF option in the options menu is a joke. Why even give an option if it does nothing. Even now I had to import my own file into the game to fully enable the rollback function.

if it's between having it on all the time or not then I 100% rather have it on all the time. I find it annoying to save without since I do use quick saves alot but it should 100% be an option to hide it or not in games for players like you that dont like it.

I quit the game because of this as it made no sense to me either. I confronted them yet never brought up what was heard and Luna just happily went on lying to my face and then the hj was the final straw for me...

Yeah, I had similar thoughts. You dont get to continue with your questions/concerns and then strangely you ignore the whole thing and carry on despite what you have said. Felt really off.

Yea...agree with some people here. This update was just not good imo. The Luna shit makes no sense at all. Shes someone the MC has known for a week? Maybe two at most and now suddenly hes fine with just accepting her bullshit excuses in a life or death situation?

I really wish there was an option to just turn around and walk out with a "fine if that pc means more to her than MC being there I'll leave" and just let her fend for herself. It just makes zero sense why he would trust her in this situation at all.

It isn't forced - I didn't get it. But there was something that felt off to me about Luna in an earlier episode, so I had the MC take a step back instead of just recently with what happened at the end of the last/beginning of this episode.

It could have been. I have focused my attention on Luna since the start so I was happy I got that scene.

Yeah, the blowjob follows automatically from kissing her back in episode 2 (and her liking the MC somewhat during episode 3). There's no option to step back based on what has happened in the mean time (and it doesn't check whether she even likes the MC now).

What made it stand out is that it came right after picking every confrontational option in the flat as well as this choice where picking the second option has no consequences whatsoever:


I may have to start a new playthrough if I can be bothered to make a more concerted effort to avoid her.

• Kate: Asks fuck all questions, but doesn't give a fuck about herself and I don't trust her at all. That's why she pretty suddenly ended up under the ctrl button. She doesn't interest me at all and could fuck off with the whole story. If the bitch doesn't say anything about herself, then she is very unreliable and I prefer to keep them away from me. • Camilla: Wants to fuck, but doesn't want to be asked what she's doing and where and with whom. I don't trust and don't care at all. So out of the story and under the ctrl button. As a harem player, I always think the worst of those who don't want to tell you where they are and what they're doing and with whom. Get the fuck out of my game, bitch.
  
  
• Betsy: There's a whore who fucks half the town. Not interested and out of the story. As a harem player, I will never in any game ever touch a slimy bitch that fucks half the city. Get the fuck out of my game, bitch.
  
  
• Doctor: got the feeling that she fucks all the patients and therefore has no interest. Out of the story. As a harem player, I certainly won't touch a bitch like that. Get the fuck out of my game, bitch.

With all of them, it got to the point pretty quickly that I chose everything but the option WT recommended, which was the most negative shit possible for everyone. My game was pretty sexless and dry, as I don't really waste sperm on shit like that.

So there is nothing in this game that would interest me to download the new update.

I only played 1 of the branching paths last update, still need to play this one but yeah this kind of how I felt but not enough to ctrl skip. As I find the game still interesting enough , even if I dont think you can fully trust anyone yet. That's the only reason for me not to drop this game as I hope I can trust Kate or Luna eventually and story keeps me intrigued for now

My opinion about the girls so far:


For Luna, the discussion remains rather ambiguous, she could just as easily refer to mc as someone else but given that mc has been in the media, the group she is with could also very well want to trap him by using Luna . Ben could do a bargain, so almost anyone having a link with this group on the outside could do the same to improve their situation.

For Kate,

I have the impression that she's perhaps the least dangerous and the more honest of the bunch in the sense that the group she's with probably just sent her to keep an eye on mc to identify those potential enemies he could have and that jack seems to be suspicious of, but she still remain suspicious like all the others.

For Eva

i have mixed signal about her, she saves our lives even if it doesn't seem in his nature to help others like with Kate friend (even if i suspect that she had her hand forced by Christopher in that case), encourages us to be suspicious of everyone and even herself, but at the same time hides useful information from us, so I would tend to think that she could be affiliated with the people who sent mc there.


And for Mia,

she seems to be close to Mc with the way she talks to him
When we have a chance to investigate at the bar and talk to the junkie, the bartender tells us that the customer is a woman, but the junkie tells us that it was a rich millionaire and that it also has something to do with this man's son who was in the news.
When we see what Mia looks like, with her elaborate hairstyle and gold ornaments, I'm inclined to think that she's the daughter of this millionaire, who seduced Mc to get revenge for what Mc did to his brother (with his father's help).



Look like our mc is very good at attracting the wrong kind of woman ^^

This game is just such a frustrating experience. It punishes people for wanting to know what's going on.

The game often gives you the choice to insist or persist in asking questions but it never pays off. You either insist and they still don't tell you but also resent you for asking or you don't ask and just be fool making moves without knowing who you should be trusting.

At this point, I have to believe the reason the game resents our inquisitiveness is because this whole thing is just shallow intrigue that doesn't have an underlying truth established. They're just making it up as we go along.

A lot of the appeal of this setting is the mystery, but can you imagine playing a Sherlock Holmes game where you were punished for looking for clues or asking questions.

To want to find out, what the fuck are they up to and why they are spying on us and why they want to know our weakness,
Even when you try to intercept and ask questions from Harper
Not backing off even with the next choice,
The game makes you back off without any answers and punishes you by making it a negative variable to wanting to know why are you being betrayed .
With a notification saying,
"They will remember it"
Like let them fucking remember, answer my fucking questions,
Its a clear betrayal by Luna even after you saved her again n again,
Then when you press she has the nerve to talk about trust and act like an arrogant slut,
Let me at least fucking kick her out of the room or fucking leave myself,

I agree with some of the points you mention in your post, but there's no proof that Luna is spying on Mc.
Their conversation is suspicious of course but she's a hacker and it would make more sens that she uses the computer provided by her group to find some weakness on the leader of one of the other faction in the boiler (we can already see Christopher taking action against Melinda ) and just hides that part from mc because she doesnt want him involved in her past and also because he have is own problems as well.
I dont say that we have to trust her blindly but judging her guilty after some ambigous words seem harsh since she's probably the only one that didnt give us any reason to doubt her so far .

She've almost find his weak spot, but after that refer to mc by his name, of course she could refer to spying on mc with the last sentence but it could be anything else, maybe Jake, maybe Christopher, Melinda, that other group mentionned by Eva or anything else linked to her past.
So she would have to say to mc that she take a lot of risks when there already is an unknown threat lurking around mc and those close to him when her new "friends" (Kate,Mc) where keeping her relatively out of trouble.


Also when we ask her about the laptop the first time, she tell us that she cant say how she obtained it, if she realy wanted to spy on us she could have liying easily and said literaly anything to limit the damage and keeping our trust on her high, and yet she didn't.

Don't get me we wrong, i dont say that she's innocent or that people have to be 100% thrutfull just because she look like a sweet and cute girl, just that it doesnt look like she really spying on mc if we really think about it, even if she obviously hidding something.

Personnaly i'm far more suspicious about Eva and Melinda, (especially after Eva reaction during our "date"), since that killer/kidnaper obviously work for Melinda with what he said to mc " she wont be happy if i kill you" (or maybe Mia but nothing solid about her so far), and Eva hidded information about the pictures so that he would have time to cover his tracks.
