This game is a turd.
No real direction
No rhyme or reason for events. Just a basic grinder with mediocre rewards.

Come on guys chill. This game is in the 0.01 Alpha version yet. Ofc there will be some mishaps. I'm surprised how far it has actually gone tbh. This game has one very important element to it however. And that is: This game is based!

So, does the game low-key end after the first week as of now? It turned into a routine of go to work, then gym, then sleep after the first week with no new events.

So far, it's quite a good VN and a shitty sandbox. I believe the latter could be fixed later in the development while having a sensible story and solid writing in the ground is a good sign.

<rant>
On a personal note, I realized how I loathe capitalism. The system humiliates the protagonist, but miraculously he gets in the top 1% to be the master himself - earning insane money is the only way of proving himself worthy to himself and the people around him, especially his girlfriend. Speaking of gf, MC treats her just as a status object, rating her mid (why, she's gorgeous) and not caring for her - so her cheating comes up, well, justified?

Hey, thanks for the support! I'm not super familiar with development nomenclature, but I think I was *technically* supposed to call this release a demo. Maybe Alpha 0.01 implies it's production ready, which was definitely not my intention.

As of now, yeah, the story is basically over, but I have 9-10 longer 'arcs' planned out before the game is complete. It shouldn't end after the first week though, it's roughly three weeks of content. Maybe double check the missions tab to see if there's extra content? Unless there's an 'Arc Complete' message, there's still more things to do. I just wanted to put this release out into the world as a trial by fire to quickly spot playability issues or obvious bugs I somehow missed. I think I might want to release a new bug free version with more sandbox elements before dropping the latest arc, but stay tuned!

Thank you for the review; I would have to agree with the VN and sandbox descriptions haha. Most of my time was spent working on the story elements. Due to the sheer number of the planned sandbox elements, I had to postpone their inclusion until a later release. The way I think about the sandbox thing is that at the moment, there are a few, very shallow elements that you can explore and interact with. In my head, I have an idea about how I want most of these elements to be included, but I have no preference for the order in which I want them to be worked, so I'll just have Patreons vote on it.

As for your rant, I do appreciate the insight. Ofc the author is dead, yadda yadda, but one way I like to view the MC is that when you meet him, he's already been ground up through the system. This opportunity is a way for him to strike back at those who wronged him, but he is ultimately co-opted into the system. I think it was Marx who wrote about the resiliency of Capital, and how it is able to absorb criticisms of itself. The characters played by Mia Melano and Emily Willis kinda represent this lmao, and the MC correctly points this behavior out. However, I make very deliberate efforts to not point out how the MC HIMSELF is also gradually being brought into the fold.

Honestly, Alpha0.01 implies exactly what it already is. A game still in development and at it's infancy stage. As I said, I even expected it to be less complete.

On my missions tab, it says:
"Arc 1

Feel free to do what you'd like, just make sure to at least show up to work and trade in every morning."

Ahh, I'll clear up that hint in version 0.02, basically just wait a week, and then show up to the office

Hey guys, just wanted to say thanks for the reviews and feedback.

I'm sorry about the late update. I had incorporated nearly all the features within the first 48 hours of the game's release, but I guess I got kinda burnt out. I don't think I was quite ready for the onslaught I was about to receive haha!

I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so it pained me a little to release the game so early. I had set a deadline for myself, and I stayed up day and night trying to finish the first arc and incorporate all the features. I didn't wanna get some generic text generation through chat GPT, and even finding, clipping, and incorporating high res media took MUCH longer than I expected.

When I dropped the story, my discord, DMs, and Patreon basically got brigaded by the randos who saw the NTR tag but didn't bother playing the game or understanding the context. My community discord was growing, but no one really seemed to want to interact of have feedback on the game whenever I'd ask for suggestions from the audience. Despite this, I went to work making the obvious fixes, but I think I just got demotivated when my game never got pushed to the gamcore main site. It rapidly accumulated some of the highest play counts on the site, and I thought for sure even in it's infancy it would get pushed, esp cause I'd seen so many other barely playable and poorly written games on the main site. Hubris is a hell of a thing.

I'm probably just irrationally ranting at this point, but w all the setbacks + new sloggy job + personal stuff, I kinda kept it on the backburner. I've decided that from a purely utilitarian perspective, I can't really let my personal stuff get in the way of things. I know this game has potential, it just needs a little more elbow grease.

I don't really like when games drop itty bitty little updates of the storyline, so I'm gonna drop the entire next arc soon. I'll have mini-updates for bug fixes and ancillary sandbox things, but I want to provide more solid content. My usually workflow is whenever there is a break in my personal life, I spend days and nights blitzing through a ton of content, so the once every two week update schedule is a little rough, at least until the fall.

Apologies about the rant, just wanted to share my headspace with the community, and let everyone know I have no intention for this to be yet another abandoned project!

Hey man, don't worry too much about getting your game on Gamcore's main site, just keep on updating the game on a regular basis, and your game will eventually be on their main site.

My game was hosted on multiple sites like Mopoga, Gamcore, Porngameshub without me realizing that those sites existed, it was just there after maybe 5-6 updates, (I updated the game every 2 weeks). Your game has all the quality needed, you just need to be more consistent in updating it. Take all the constructive criticism and just don't even bother the ad hominem ones

On my first release, I got two 1 star ratings because of how not ready my game was compared to yours, but eventually those who are happy playing my game gave their 4-5 stars.

Just ignore those rant-ers, pay attention to constructive criticism, and listen to your players.

If I can get any feedback on how 0.02 is, I would greatly appreciate it! This release saw a major rework of the codebase, some stat tracking, and a fair bit of new content. Unfortunately, I was unable to figure out how to change the text, so I apologize in advance.

Last, but not least, there is now a TOTAL divergence between NTR and Vanilla content. If you select the Vanilla path, you won't see ANY Ntr stuff.
