RPGM - Completed - Town of Passion [v1.1] [Siren's Domain]

As far as I can say. The art is a bit dated. But its charming and I'm willing to give it a pass as its just nitpicking. Because having played this game for free i would say its worth paying 5 bucks for and am going to pledge to siren for the great expirience heres hoping your other projects do well and heres hoping we get a ToP2. (at the quality of house chores I would gladly pledge a great sum for that lmao.)

Good art and an entertaining story that at least tries to explain away the 'magic dick syndrome' that so many h-games rely on. The puzzles were intriguing and the characters were all different in personality. A few downsides though. For starters, I had a few crashes which is annoying in a game that only autosaves once per day. For another, even though the women are all different personalities, most of them look pretty identical. 90% of the town could very well be the same woman wearing different outfits and wigs. Lastly, I am not a fan of twitch-based minigames, especially in an engine as clunky as RPGMaker. But still, I enjoyed it overall. Only stopped playing because the crashes were getting annoying.

Good story and decent Art, had good charachter development and a good fairy tail feel. I prefer the hand drawn style over CG and the drawings were perfect examples, animations left a little to be desired and especially the "black out' during the peak moment.
All in all a very good game.

A light-hearted RPGM set in a small town populated with a bunch of ladies who could use help from you - a small boy just turned man.

Gameplay wise, besides chatting everyone up, you'll be solving puzzles. Puzzles in the form of interacting with boulders and switches to create passages. They're generally easy and breezy (though a specific cave one made me feel like I had -1000 IQ since it took ages).

Grind wise it's okay. There's a few stats to level up but that happens quickly. I suppose thematically it represents you growing from a boy into a man, though it happens too quick for that symbolism to land... anyway it's a cutesy puzzler, not Shakespeare ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.


I'd recommend this if you're into puzzles! (Is it me does puzzles sound disgusting? It's the new moist.)

with that said for me the game was kinda of a deception, i was expecting something like lust epidemic, but that was not it, the incest seducion or corruption is really bad, the mother(mary) despite beeing the main woman don't have enough scenes, she is conflicted about kissing you and then 5 scenes later she has sex with you

STORY+++
This game has kind of a weird story. Let's just say you are a man in a world full of women and you alone have the power to defend the town of Valencia from an evil goddess by having sex. Not going into any spoilers, but the game does have some plot twists near the end.

GAMEPLAY++++
The game has some RPG mechanics like character leveling, which is required to progress through the game. There is also a heavy focus on exploration and puzzles. In short, you build relationships with the women, you increase your skills and explore the map. The game doesn't focus on action, so don't expect any combat system. Instead of fighting enemies, you avoid them (maybe stun them with your slingshot).

GRAPHICS+++
For a game made in RPG Maker, the game has average graphics. The environments and character sprites are all kind of generic. I do like the character designs though. They have a cartoony theme, which i like.

SOUNDTRACK+++
The game has a generic soundtrack you can find in most other games made in RPG Maker. Not really bad music, just not good either. Kind of average.

EXTRA
The game does get kind of repetitive with the relationship building, since all the girls have a similar progression with the MC. Character leveling also felt unbalanced, since you could easily max out your skills in the early game. Because of this, most of the skill potions you found while progressing through the game became useless. I also think some of the side characters were rushed, with not much content to unlock.

REVIEW
Town of Passion is a good game with a heavy focus on relationship building, character leveling, exploration and puzzles. If you like games with a'lot of content, then you will enjoy playing this game. It took me 10+ hours to complete the game and unlock most of the events and outfits.

It's been a while since I played this game. But now I have decided to rate the best games I have played.
And this is definitely one of the best RPG Maker games out there.
Unlike Japanese RPGs, the game is based on puzzles. So there is no grind in this game. Only puzzle, a lot of story and great animations.

It's up there with all the other great RPGM games on here, which is few and far between.

It excels in other areas compared to Zombie Retreat, another Siren's Domain game. This has less constant action. You barely are attacking enemies by comparison. It's more puzzles and character focused which is enjoyable. The character art isn't always consistent, especially in animated sex scenes, but there is so much of it and clearly much effort was put into it. If you like the samples in screenshots of the game, you'll enjoy this.

The unlockables after the base game are way more time consuming to get, so much that I just looked for a save about halfway instead, but the necessary character and story gameplay is enough that you don't need those bonus rewards. Without that content it's a complete game. I don't want to write up an unnecessary long review. Huge props to this team, it is this developer's best game.

Siren's Domain always gets my hopes up and then drops me back down to Earth. Without a parachute.

Story 2/10

The story's drip fed and then given at the very end with a bunch of hoopla. You're the only male in a very small town of all females. You bang everyone around you at the bequest of a goddess who's being chased by another goddess who's actually a goddess that's pretending to be that goddess and is also serving another goddess who's trying to free a goddess. I think I got that about right.

At the very end, you're a prince sort of, then you stop being a prince, but you have an actual reason for being attracted to your mother. You save the town of 9 people. Hooray.

Siren's Domain's story is always all over the place.

Gameplay 5/10

Each map is very short. Every puzzle is contained within a screen or two. Siren's Domain switches it up with boss fights and the traverse-the-map mini game. For the uniqueness and effort put in, I can give that a 5.

You also have stats that you can grind and raise, but I just grinded those stats for to max in 10 minutes and then it was no longer an element of the game.

Art 3/10

Such a pity. Such. A. Pity. Siren's Domain's other game, Zombie's Retreat had stellar art. Town of Passion has... something. To be fair, it's not my style. I don't like it. I don't like that Picasso abstract art style that the females are inspired from.

And it looks like 10 different artists worked on this game. The art style changes drastically from scene to scene and it just doesn't look right.

The scenes are short and sweet but there's low variation CGI, minimal animation, and extremely limited voice acting. I always say that voice acting is a plus, but honestly? I think this game would have benefitted from not having the small little mishmashed winamp files included.

Wincest 3/10

The depraved stuff you're all here for. Yes, you bang your mom. Yes, you bang your aunt. Yes you have a threesome with both of them.

But the step-by-step corruption to banging your mom just kinda isn't there. She's pretty open to it. So is your aunt.

And the threesome is just a double boobjob.

Overall 3/10

I just didn't enjoy the game. The art was inconsistent and not that good, the story was all over the place, and the gameplay mechanics were simple.

Siren's Domain's best trait is that they finish their games. They deliver. But I'm kind of understanding why some games are stuck in dev hell for years on end.

The amount of content in Town of Passion was about 10 hours. And you can tell from my rating how I thought about the content delivery system.

Definitely one of my favorite games its very well rounded. The CGs are really good and there are a lot of girls in this. The puzzles are actually fun to do and I didn't feel like anything was to difficult to get past. There is a lot of content in this game with different areas to explore and gain access too.

My only problem with the game that I did not deduct a star for is that some character CGs are really lacking variety. Some character you get through all there CGs and you feel like there was stuff you didn't see. I don't think this was something that was forgotten but more so just how it was intended. I also don't think it was that big of a deal when you consider how much content there is.

Either way definitely something you should play and will enjoy!

It's a really solid game with all aspects done nicely. Objectively, at the very least, you won't be dissapointed, trying this game. Loved the relationship and stats system (maybe I can compare it with the smt/persona game series in this ascpect), puzzles were not so dumb and tiring. Really liked outfit changes and unique scenes. Overall, it's a good example of what all rpgm games should be

- Don't expect a combat game.
- Some quest are 1/2hard to solve, nothing that a walkthrough won't solve.
- There're no guide for special content...you need to solve it by yourself. If there isn't a walkthough, i even wouldn't know that those content exist.

I tried completed all game, but there're too much content. After finishing the game, i tried to unlock all the special scenes, but i found it very difficult to unlock some of them and gave up. The story and art was also good. I didn't lose interest from beginning to end of the game.

Good game with a good story, although its art is not as good as renpy, this game has a lot of content. The porn is a good but do expect some repetitive "scene" but with different character, well i guess the author don't want to really make more of the same sex position but some of them is still pretty good.

An okay game. Decent amount of content. About 9 hours for me to 100% it. Story was short and sweet, nothing too complicated or crazy. Nothing to write home about. H-scenes were nice but very short. Everything (relationships and story) progressed really really quick. Didn't really feel much build up to sex. Art is pretty decent. Also with the all the mention of MC's big dick, there wasn't really much struggle with it in any H-scenes, dialogue and art. Just a small pet peeve of mine. Not bad.

Great story, plus it’s an actual completed 2dcg game! The story is good, the standing portraits are good, and the pacing (until post-game) is good.

I took one star off because a lot of the actual H-scenes are pretty inconsistent, and some aren’t very good in general. Also, it feels like there was a lot of missed potential in the end-game scenes. Unlike zombie’s retreat, there’s very few group scenes. There’s no pregnancy. It felt like a big letdown after all the nice vanilla stuff. Still a good game that will give you many hours of entertainment!

The game is very good. I tried completed the whole game in a single sitting but the content just keeps coming up which was very exciting. lots of hidden contents. The story and art was also good. I loved it. I would definitely recommend playing the game.

this game is a good pastime, as the puzzles are varied and interesting, so if you play it for that reason ok.

Otherwise it is a game from a graphic style unappealing, of course personal opinion, where the interactions with the different characters are few and rushed, which eliminates any empathy.

with many characters the whole thing is limited 2-3 missions, success in each mission gives access to a scene lewd then repeatable, but none of these characters stand out over the others, they bore more than distract.

first of all I am not a fan of monster girl but this game have decent story, interesting main quest and Extras like DLCs and Costumes so it can open new scenes for the characters but don't expect much for graphic (this game came from 2017). Thanks Siren

Well made game for a RPG one. Unlike most of the rpg games, here the quests and the gameplay map are's easy to navigate and complete and you don't get into wandering and confusion what to do next or where to go to trigger something new, how's often happen in this game's style. There is also some moan voice at some h-scenes, which is always welcome ... There is not scary amount of grind.

I dislike that there isn't enough text, also that some of the girls hop onto you after the first favour( quest) you make for em.
The girls looks very much identical to me as both body shapes and faces. There is some kinda personality for each one, but how i said with the lack of text you literally notice and get to know them before the "real deal".
