good looking or realistic?
BG3 looks really good on mid-high
genshin style also looks good but i didn't play it
I just bought those up because this guy was talking about "the next BG3 or Genshin" like those are top of the line cutting edge games.
I enjoyed the hell out of BG3 and DOS2 but for his argument it a non sequitur, it's an inhouse developed engine specifically for their own tabletop/DnD games, completely not an alternative for a single indie dev making a porn game.
Genshin I don't know, I'm not really the target audience.
Dev should just do whatever he likes, don't know his motivation for going this way. But I will wait with pissing vinegar for after I tried it.

Uh oh, the engine that people keep pushing despite it literally demonstrably tanking frames for no real good reason do to spaghetti optimisation and the need to keep pushing arbitrary graphical fidelity numbers up.
Ill give it a shot but since I dont see the value in UE5 for AAA games I highly doubt I will see it in a H-game, and I have a 4080.
I know I'm super late but figured I'd respond to this. From my experience taking projects from UE4 to UE5 you get a performance boost. I'm guessing you start running into performance issues when you start taking advantage of all the new UE5 features like nanite and lumen. It's kinda silly because these features were supposed to improve performance. Granted I've kinda stuck with design sensibilities gained using Unity (Low poly/smaller textures). I think where people are getting into trouble is they are using these features to try to speed up their games rather than handling LOD themselves or worrying about polycounts or texture resolution, because they were being told they didn't need to the engine would do it for them. Just a guess though nothing I've done has been big enough to tax even a budget machine.

Edit: With that said, Fortnite definitely took a performance hit going from UE4 to UE5 so IDK.

I'm not going getting in the middle of a 'religious' debate about Unreal/Unity/Manchester United/Pastafarism.

I'm just going to say that it has been running more or less fine in my system (AMD 5600 + Radeon Rx580 8GB, res. 1680x1050).

For now it seems a gallery of tentacle-rape animations. There are a few soundbites when nearing a trigger object.

While you can customice the face, head and clothes, you can't customize the body. I hope it means that in the future, the body proportions will be part of the game (fucking certain tentacles grow your tits, other your hips, others get you pregnat/cum-inflated, etc...). There are buttons for it in the animations, but they do nothing, and even then, I don't know if the changes would be permanent beyond the animation sequence.

There are several doors, that I hope they direct to other rooms, I guess empty for now. Honestly, the map seems a bought asset. That its not bad. There are several games reusing the same house bought in the Unity store, just customizing it. At least it guarantees that the base map is decently pre-optimized, so, as long you don't go crazy adding crap, it should run well.

The interface it is a bit of a crapshot: the basic menus for entering the game or customizing the character are hard to click and sometimes unresponsible, the displacement bars too thin and too near other clickable elements, and they do no respond to the mouse wheel. Please use big, solid buttons, with a hover that respond properly so you know where you are clicking of just of where you think you are clicking. The color wheel for the clothes appear half outside the screen at my resolution.

The same in the animation interface, even if this one is better designed that the previous ones. Make the buttons bigger, more separated and with a responsible and functional hover area. Don't turn arrows and pause simbols into buttons: make fully clickable buttons or tabs with the simbols inside.

Bugs:

A. The looping moans sounding after exitting the animation. It happens in several places. I've had up to two loops running in the background beyond the one in the foreground (voiceclips, or the moans in the current animation). Maybe make that the sounds that the character says are on a single specific track, and when another audio clip works, it kills any previous sound on that track. That means that you can also cancel the sound clearing the track when exitting a animation, either explicitily, or just adding a single short sound when the player regains control (the character sighs, or moans, or speak a short sentence).

B. When an animation triggers, the screen blackout does not affect the clickable objects' halo, and you can see the camera moving. Either blackout everything, or just put a solid loading screen instead of a mere blackout. In fact, something like this would work better:
1- Freeze controls and camera.
2- 2 seconds fade to black of image while adding a slow zoom in to the character. Also fade out of ambient sound / bgm track.
3- Once fully black, fast fade in from black a loading screen (0.5 seconds)
4- Sound a jingle/sound effect while animation loads and camera changes (maybe a siluette of the mansion, with thunder and lighting. Will probably last from 1 to 10 second (m2 ssd to mechanical hdd). Make sure that loading screen is avobe halos, even if the fade out didn't darken them.
5- Fast fade out to black (0.5 seconds) with jingle fade out or play final loop piece.
6- 1.5~2 seconds fade from black to image while adding a slow zoom out from the character, to the camera viewpoint. Also fade in of ambient sound / moans / bgm track.
7- Fade in controls (1 second).
8- Player regains control.

C. Can't trigger the serpents in the ground on the 1st floor (upstairs). It's nearly impossible to make appear the "Press F to interact". In general, the "point to activate" it is pretty buggy, somethimes allowing to activate things pretty far away, some others you must be touching them, or on a specific camera angle for them to work.

D. The voice when comenting that the doors are locked it's hard to understand (lower volume that the other soundbites). In general, if subtitles could be added, it would be awesome, specially if you can't play with sound, or have very poor loudspeakers.

E. In the character editor, the skin color it is hard to edit and seems too white-pasty, specially when compared to in-game. Please add a few preconfigured ones, just like the eye colors. If you want samples, on make up pages there are usually color samples used for foundation make-up. I've add an example, except that it still is quite limited:
1st arm - Pale White skin (north-european)
2dn arm - Pale Asian skin (east asia)
3rd arm - Dark White skin (mediterranean/white latino/mixed indian)
4th arm - Pale Black skin (mixed black, USA, latin america)
Missing would be:
- Dark Asian skin (middle east, india, native north/south american)
- Dark Black skin (Africa, USA, latin america)
Fenty-Beauty-Pro-Filtr-Hydrating-Foundation-1.jpg
F. There is a iddle animation when pressing X. That animation skeleton is for a higher figure, so the player streches out vertically, like one of those elastic dolls (Strech Armstrong?). It's funny, but I guess it should be an iddle animation when the character does not move for some time.

G. The animation pannel, in the clothing section, is bugged. I must click a few pixels UNDER the text "hide"/"partial" for the hover/click to work.

H. The cumstains with the right button are horrible. You can't point accurately, and the stains are just circular white blotches on the skin. It looks more like a texturing bug that a white stain. Can you make them at least semi-transparent?

Beyond this, the typical bugs of a first release, it seems to work pretty well for me.

I hope you add a second release soon, showing there the possible gameplay beyond a simple walker/animation gallery. Wether it is a basic walker/explorer with a few fetch elements to open/unlock extra doors, or something more advanced, it would benefit from a mission log/achievement log ingame.

A possibility for more complex gameplay I already mentioned. If your sizes/pregnacy status is relevant to open doors/trigger sequences, you could play with it. For example, certain tentacles make your breast bigger. Others cumflate you. Others cover you with semen. Others ignore you.
- You read in a book, that the snakes tentacle only impregnates "cows pure of body", and that "it's fruit, if feed to a dragon, will open a way".
- So you must fuck tentacles that makes your breast bigger until you lactate [size:4], and even one more [size 5], even if they dirty and cumflate you.
- Then you go to the wc, that deflates you but reduces a cup size [size:4].
- Then go to the shower, that fucks but cleans you.
- Then you can go to the snakes, and they impregnate you.
- Then fuck a few cumflation tentacles to "feed the child". Once feed enough (pregnacy stage 5) you give birth to a slug thing.
- You use the slug on the statue near the fire at the entrance, and a door unlocks.

But it is just an idea. I hope to see what your idea is. Good luck.

Runs into the same problems as most modern UE games.

Visual fidelity wise, it's great on max but looks horrible on anything below.
Design wise, the character looks like a 40-something that hit the wall and desperately tries to hide it with a pound of makeup, with next to no success, mostly due to the overblown lighting amplifying every crevasse in their face.
Performance wise, it runs about as well as a one legged asthmatic on horse tranquilizers no matter what you do to the visual settings.

The worst part is, it's not even entirely the dev's fault, UE is an engine designed to sell photo-realism at any cost, even if that cost is coherent visual design and a decent framerate.

Impregnate and grow breast don't work at the moment I suppose.
They do, but they are both very iffy, sometimes they work other times it shrinks them back down, while the breast size increase seems to stick between animations the pregnancy one does not, and it does not show either difference while moving between things, only during animations, or at least it does for me anyway.
