I plsyrf this a few years back and greatly enjoyed it. Unfortunately, when I was deep into the game I made a mistake that caused me to lose my RAGS save, and I couldn't face starting from the beginning again.

I hope you get the chance to try it again. The game's HTML version is also tested more rigorously nowadays, so you should be able to play that one without having to mess with RAGS in 2022.

God there are games i'd kill for a rags --> HTML port of.
If this were one of the infrequent random months of the year that i actually have work i'd even offer to pay somewhat, or at least do any of the work that doesn't require being smart.
Misadventuresat the mall, house of dreams (the areg one), apple boobing, miss adventure. I must've first played tfgamessite rags games maybe 8 years ago? back in like middle school, so they're pretty nostalgaic.
It's nice to see that at least some of thesegames are still alive and well though!
If i were really smart, what i'd dfo is find a way to port cursed, and then add in like 700 images all throughout it, as that's probably its biggest con, and is one of the first popular tgtf games ever made.
Oh and also that game where you're in a casino.

I know this has been a super scatterbrained post, but can i ask if you guys also experience this sitewide glitch where if you hit backspace when on the first letter of a word, it'll automatically backspace twice so you're connected to the previous word?
It's super annoying and disorienting and it hasn't been fixed, i think it started like 5 months ago
This is almost certainly a browser extension or tampermonkey script, try disabling extensions/scripts until you find the one causing it.

Good, I'm glad my latest report got resolved and the mods have now updated and affixed the HTML prefix to go alongside the RAGS identifier which should hopefully draw in more people to try out this game once they see it in the Latest Updates section. 
It's wonderful to see more folks play this gem of a game! And don't forget, eventually down the line there will be a TotDC-2 where your choices and stats from this game will carry over to the other (if you want) or you can start fresh from there. Hope it will be bigger and more awesome than even this first game now that the dev, mdqp, has even more experience and games completed under his belt. Can't wait. Whoohoo!

Oh, I didn't know that Caliross was from the same author either, sadly that game is not my cup of tea (hypnosis, mind control and similar stuff) even though it's really good.

I like the rags and qsp ui. not sure which came out first but when done right quite easy too use.

In my eyes the game was not or never completed the producer lost the desire to produce the game further and make a cut (for me that is not the same as when a game is really completed).
I introduce the game to others 4 Dec 2012 in another forum and I was aso one from them that played the game. The thread "opener" was changed then to the producer orginal it was from me (that he can update the thread).
Why the game is not completed in my eyes because they are a lot of possibilities that never told to the end. Aso some stats have not so much story to other and so on.
I have had much fun with the game and unfortunately I must see years ago that the producer lost the desire to produce the game further.
So when you search for a game that makes fun you are here right. When you search for a game that is really completed I would say then you are by the wrong game.

Hi there, nice to see you around. If you guys want HTML conversion of other RAGS games, you should bring this up with the authors, and if they want to work on those, I can put them in contact with the guy who helped me. He is only willing to work with the creators because 1) He doesn't want the drama of working on something without permission and 2) He needs a collaborative effort from the author to fix certain things (the process isn't fully automated).
Seems like someone else answered about the backspace.
It didn't get updated in 6 years, more or less, but once I finish my current game, my next game is going to be TOTDC 2. Since it's going to use Ren'Py, I had to update the export at the end of TOTDC 1 (for those who want to continue from where they left off), and I took it as an opportunity to fix bugs, improve a few things and add some (very minor) extra content.
Man, that maze remains one of my biggest regrets. Someone else linked the walkthrough, do let me know if that works for you.
Is it more the fantasy setting? After all, mind control is a big theme in TOTDC as well.
I certainly haven't forgotten RAGS games (but then again, I was making them XD). In fact, sometimes I even get the itch to make a new one. Thankfully, updating TOTDC made it easier to remember what a pain in the ass the RAGS designer is to use...
I mention in the post above (and also, a few posts back), but if you guys can convince the authors to come back to edit their games, then I can put them in contact with the guy who made converting my games possible.
The final release was 6 years ago, and the first version was what 10-11 years ago? No time passed at all!
