Still love the game, coming back to it after like 8 months! I feel like an idiot but how do I install a new version of the mod? I had beta41 and put the .rpa file in the game directory. But for the beta59, I don't see any .rpa files, just 3 folders (audio, images, scripts). Am I to paste these into the game directory? First time updating the mod, sorry!

Yeah I think you just paste it into game directory and overwrite.

I got this working on Android. It's a bit of a slog. Probably not something that can just be easily shared since it requires modifying the original APK. If you want to try it yourself, I've written up instructions below. Be aware, some of this is probably not advisable. I have no idea of the legitimacy of Lucky Patcher, so be forewarned. Do this at your own risk.
1. Obtain original APK of Summertime Saga, a zip of this mod, and an apk for an app called Lucky Patcher by ChelpuS.
2. Make a copy of the original APK and name it differently. Something like "SummertimeSaga-0.20.16-release-sphmod.apk"
3. Extract the mod zip into a folder.
4. Rename every file and folder (recursively) to begin with "x-". i.e. the "audio" folder becomes "x-audio", etc.
4a. On Windows, I used a program called Bulk Rename Utility (first google result on a co.uk domain) and selected the following options: under Add, put "x-" (no quotes) in the Prefix box. Under Filters, check the Subfolders box. Navigate to the extracted mod folder in the program and select all, press Rename.
5. Open the copy of Summertime Saga's APK from step 2 with 7-zip. (Other zip programs may work, Windows 11 built in does not. I only tested with 7-zip). Navigate in 7-zip to assets > x-game.
6. Drag the 3 folders from the extracted mod, now named x-audio, x-scripts, and x-images into the 7-zip window.
7. When the copy finishes, move the original APK, the modified APK and the Lucky Patcher APK to your Android.
8. Sideload Lucky Patcher.
9. In Lucky Patcher, choose Rebuild & Install, navigate to the APK's and select the modified one.
10. Choose Rebuild > Resign with test signature.
11. Check the box for Fake a modified APK archive from the original.
12. Press Select original apk, navigate to original APK and select it.
13. Press Re-sign.
14. Sideload the newly resigned apk.
There you have it! I'm on Android 10, so YMMV on later versions. Worth a shot I suppose. I also had success with using Signature verification killer instead of Fake a modified APK option.
Finally, there is no immediate indication this is working. I had to enable cheats, unlock the cookie jar, then play one of the modified scenes to confirm.
EDIT: I don't have enough post history to post links. I can only test this works on an Android 10 device because my newer devices won't install Summertime Saga as they are locked to 64-bit only and STS has not released a 64-bit app yet. I get a message that "you cannot install this app on your device" on my Pixel 7 Pro and my Pixel tablet. I get that for the original APK too.

Can someone guide me on how to actually start and play the mod ? I had to download the latest update not compressed version, I loaded my 0.20.8 save and IDk how to start, only saw a line of text in a convo with Jenny mentioning sph freaks, but where and how to start and play the mod ?

Are the scenes implemented through this mod added to the hint system in the game? Or is there somewhere I can go to see a guide on how to see all of the new content?
P.S - Eve's reaction when she sees our dick for the first time is so damn good, it's just harsh enough that it tickles the humiliation/sph kink, but she immediately feels bad,apologizes and accepts you which makes the scene so much better and not just mean.. This mod might be the best thing I've ever played.
