It's an interesting game

I think you need better videos or images, surely if someone created a mod this game would be much more enjoyable

Forget it kid, it's Selectacorp....
People keep repeating that but it's actually quite straightforward if you ever played a RTS or Civilization game you should have no trouble figuring SoW2 out - left click to select troops and stuff right click to make troops move/attack. You can't do much anyway: attack till you conquer an area, build a base and use the ressources you got from you conquests to hire more troops to garrison and conquer till you own everything.

The problem is the quality of the content (like one scene is just a guy screwing a sex doll) and lots of "dead buttons" - many of the buildings and policies so far (haven't tried v 1.0 yet) or downright missing basic functions like the save button for a very long time and just bad game design like getting ministers but having no permanent means/policies to keep them happy, focusing on combat instead of the politics/management part - like it's any more fun conquering the large island than the small one especially considering that the enemy isn't even able to move troops, I doubt that changed in v.1.0.

Anyway a short list of changes for this release to the last version would be nice to figure out whether there's any point in trying out the new one.

This build a base and hire more troops is not as straight forward as Civ and as with all selectacorps game, everything is needlessly uniformative.

i found it quite easy to beat the game in its current state. if it comes to porn its not rly worth it but well... its still a beta or even alpha
what the game needs is more content to look at the rest is ok
some other factions and events wouldnt hurt as well but its fine atm just content

SPOILS OF WAR 2: ASSOCIATES+ RELEASE
Please note that as far as dev is concerned, this is a true version 1.0:
"Betas were the previous ones, this is version 1.0 Beta implies the product is not finished. The game probably still has issues but it is a finished product."
On latest version, from dev:
"- Fix to ministers getting scrambled when saving and loading. - Raiding now shows the battle results panel (I did that so I could show 2 Hannah missing clips). - Disabled sec gen party policies because there's no images. Made many changes to the existing policies. - Policies can affect damage of defense of units now. - Fixes to bribes, seraglio lists, targets descriptions. - Added new units: paramilitaries (bonus chance to raid) and Mercenaries (cost only money). Also blocked advanced units behind policies so it makes sense to use the weaker units. - Fixed resistance and rebellion bugs (resistance goes back to zero for every conquest to avoid too many rebellions). - Added building descriptions, modified ministers bonuses, added extra help images and finally made several minor fixes that I found during testing.(edited)
I think the biggest issue that is still up is the balancing, some actions give too much resources, others too little. In general I think the game is way too easy and repetitive but that's more of a design problem not a bug."
If issues are discovered, we will address them, but this one is good to good in 4 flavours- Win32, Win64, OsX and Linux:

Please leave any feedback here:

... and thank you for those of you who despaired of ever seeing

I love how you understand the UI and gameplay of every selectacorp game after beating it
