Never actually played this game before, and one thing from the outdated walkthrough stuck out to me

Game isn’t simple, events must be done sequentially from the first version to the last.
Focus on one event and try to end it, if you go ahead without finish it, will stuck later without know why.

How in the ten fucks is this supposed to be a sandbox according to the description?

This game is such a grinder to get anywhere. Almost hurts to play it so be warned... LOL
