Another week, another update to say..... ya'll ain't getting nothing new this week.

Good news is that the short new skit and intro section for the first academic training sequence is done.
And I couldn't help but maybe throw a couple of digs at the S1 dialogue and show structure in there....
That said it's substantively complete, and leads out directly into what will be the dailies for both reward and punishment in the academic setting, we don't need a "firsts" bit for this as that's covered by the Gym ones.
Next week I'll be building the dailies for Academic training (with placeholders for activities above Academic 25, and vastly slowed growth beyond that point, just like the Gym).
Then comes the laborious task of essentially replicating everything from the Gym's rewards sections with new dialogue, and building a whole new punishments section from the ground up.

ANYWAY. you're not here for me rambling, you're here for the butt right........ yeah you are!
In a shock twist it's nota RWBY character, discussion over on the thread for ONI's Roguelike got me jonesing for some curvy Doreen, so now you have to deal with it.

I continue to plug away.
Got the initial training session finished, the intro to the daily training section with Ruby's mood varying based on her Trust, and first daily training action (where you use little treats to train Ruby).
Additionally I've tried out the random choice from list function for the first time, so that when Ruby fails her tests at the end of the training (which she'll only pass once she reaches the maximum threshold for the training) she'll give a randomly determined wrong answer making repeatedly failing a tad more interesting.
When she passes she'll give a correct answer from the RWBY Lore, the idea being that when you hot 25, 50, 75, and 99 Academics you'll get an answer you need to remember to pass the Quiz-Off vs Glynda (allowing Ruby to top, rather than bottom).

On the subject of Ruby and bottoms.......
She wanted attention (over on the main thread) and, perhaps predictably, she regretted getting it.

I do actually have two more tracebacks I may have forgot to post. I also made it further into Ruby's masochism stuff. I never would have found the scenes if I didn't know they were there. It took continuing past the point where I had all three bars basically full and grinding on more or less the same content for in game weeks at a time. It's possible my approach was inefficient but since the stat is hidden I didn't know what was affecting it. Probably once there is more content reaching this will feel more natural, but at the moment it feels more like an Easter egg. Consider adding more signposting.

On the subject of the content itself, I don't think it's really my thing. I did like seeing Ruby's attitude toward it shift, especially early on. It was cute and sexy when she started to look forward to getting spanked, but the more intense stuff sort of makes me uncomfortable. The idea of applying irritants to sensitive areas especially. I'd rather dominate her in other ways. Edging, anal training, kinky degredation, that sort of thing. I'm also really into petplay, if you could find a good excuse to include it. I will say I really liked the sort of blissed out state Ruby would be in afterward. I found myself wishing there were more ways to interact with her when she's like that.

Good points on multiple fronts!
On the signposting front I was considering using skits (with associated repeatable sex acts) to indicate Ruby's progress down the horny and masochistic stat growths, triggering at measured steps.
The more extreme stuff would (with the full suite of content) take a more natural path to unlocking than just grinding actions, because the extra levels of punishments would more naturally unlock her more extreme submissive and masochistic sides.
We're hitting that grind without new content because it's all written but the game building up to it is incomplete.

Maybe I should include an option to lock her progress in some way as part of the skits though too, or make it so her desire for increasingly intense pain only grows with more extreme punishments, the idea's to make this more of a playground so if moving into the more hard BDSM content isn't lockable or reversible then that rather fails the project brief.

On the content front I was considering introducing various additional kinks later with new characters.
With submission, pain dependence, and wedgies already currently on Ruby's radar alongside the obvious class-room dynamic.
Trying to get everything into Ruby seemed like I'd have to develop a lot of specific paths for her, and was outside of the original scope
TBH Weiss seemed like the perfect pet-play character choice, her anti-faunus racism seems tailor made for fun with breaking her into a pet. Likewise Yang seems like a good choice for edging, since her whole bag semblance wise is building something up and releasing it. I don't know why, and Nora strikes me as an anal gal, but electric play just feels right for her, and so on....


As for interacting with Ruby once she's gone full endorphin mode, that's a great idea! I could probably add some way to use it to build trust, punishment, horny, or pain dependence with an associated act or two.

Oof. I appreciate the gesture, but the AI really doesn't handle it well. Maybe pet-play content should wait until after you've found an artist. On that topic, are you sure you want to go for 2D art? Normally I prefer 2D myself, but RWBY was a 3D animated show to begin with and as I understand it 3D renders are usually less expensive.

Yeah the AI thing really isn't my bag either, so I never bother to learn how to use it well. I just mash in some prompts and hope for a good update butt (which I'm not sure why I adopted doing, other than that I wanted to give people following my madness something when I was just posting "no updates").

I could probably do 3d myself, there are enough programs out there with the models already made etc. But I'm a 2d guy myself when it comes to porn comic content, and if people are gonna pay for this I wanted that money going to fund someone's talents.

Edging Ruby (and later girls) could make it's way into punishments fairly naturally, with the content we actually have written we've barely scratched the surface of punishment (I just got over-excited writing the rewards content and it pulled way out ahead of the rest, because if I'm honest I think being on the dom end of enthusiastic submission to and enjoyment of domination and pain is definitely my bag.

Hello all!

This is a non-update non-update!
I've been frantically prepping for a real-world event the last couple of weeks, and I've only just finished this afternoon :O
I'm away for said event next week, so work on Ruby's further education will have to continue in a fortnight.
But then I'll be back at it with a vengeance, sorry for radio silence.

Looks like while I was away Summer got her hands on Ruby's PJs.
They do not fit.
