Overview:
"Province Guy" game is a mix of sandbox and visual novel, depicting life of an ordinary young guy somewhere in Russian province. He lives in a small town, with his family - a father, brother, father's wife, and the wife's daughter. This young guy is just turned 19, and is making his first steps into adult life - which is full of joys, but it can be also dangerous. Help him to become a man!
This game is a sort of sequel to a Province Girl game. Those who played Province Girl will certainly recognize the town, the family, and all surroundings. And it may look the same, but this time you will play as a young male, instead of female. It gives the whole story a new angle, and a new approach. And there is a new style - most of the artwork are pencil sketches, old-fashioned ones, made with pencil and paper, not with a computer.

That would be nice, but it'd be unlikely, mainly cus of how gay it'd have to be.

The art isn't professional by any means but all things considered, looks fairly good. It's like someone went to town with a PRISMACOLOR colored pencil art set.

Dunno if that 'sketch style' adds any charm to it to be honest, I play a lot of the QSP games purely because there's a certain amount of autonomy to it. Would love more male protagonist attempts, but QSP is just such a mess to work with that most dont tackle it or well, they get abandoned. Will keep my eye on this nontheless.

Not fun so far, plus this UI is just annoying, never understand why people don't copy GLifes UI, it's simple, functional, not annoying and works. Everything can be constrolled with number keys if you want to, but in dang near every other QSP game you're forced to click all over the screen to get anywhere.

As for the not fun part, it's still early in dev so it's a pass for now.

Actually, it's more my horrible English. I was absolutely sure that it's the same word for men and women underwear. Appears it is not o_O. Now I understand that strange look people give me sometimes. lol

BTW, just to make things clear: in the beginning it was " Eto" by DeGross and others. And then came "Province Girl". "Girl Life" was actually a clone of "Province Girl". At some point, 4-5 different and independent versions of the same game existed. Then we moved "Province Girl" to Quest Navigator, and developed current UI. Then and only then we created a dual langage engine, and started translating. And then due to some reasons now irrelevant, we broke up. And then some of us took the game and started to rework it for male MC.

SOB, Mothers best friend, EVIL 2, Rubedo (if you avoid the TF event), and my beloved House (well, is about possesing family members, but playing father is great)

About this one, is just too soon to tell if its good or not. ;)
