To translate a game I would follow these steps:
- Decompress the game with UnRen (you will have access to the code)
- Copy the game folder into Renpy's working directory
- Open Renpy, select the game, click on "Generate Translation" and choose the language (this will create the lines to be translated).
- Go to the "tl" folder inside the game where there will be ".rpy" files of each game file but only with the lines of text to translate.
The only thing you have to keep in mind is that you also have to modify the start in the game, so that the language can be selected.
NOTE: It should also be noted that this is used to translate the dialogue of the characters, but not other things that the game may have and that will require a manual editing of the original code.

Thanks @mgomez0077, I had already seen that this was a way of translating the game but in my case only works the second option "merge strings translation", and also had doubts if I extracted all the texts or only the dialogues ...

After some experiments I did I managed to create the files for translation of the game "Orange Trainer", they are untranslated but when you place them and enter the game in the Options menu you have the option to activate the translation.
I don't know if you want me to upload the files like that and someone translates them, if I do, it will be with automatic translation and the syntax will not be very good.
By the way, does not translate the whole game but if the dialogs and most menus, as soon as I get a way to translate what is missing I will comment.

perdon por meterme, no kiero desvirtuar su charla porke veo ke tambien es util para ke mas gente se ponga a traducir, pero me recomendaron este post para solicitar juegos en español, alguien seria tan amable de recopilar las sugerencias y dejarlas en algun link?

PD: no estoy muy seguro, lo habia chekeado y si lo vi en español, por eso lo agregue ( creo ke lo vi comentado en algun changelog) pero ahora no encontre nada, de todos modos lo sake de este mismo post, puesto al principio por el moderador ( esta en la pagina 1 en el primer comentario del moderador, el 4to del post)
Hola, me descargue el juego y no encuentro cómo colocarlo en español. En preferencia no aparece y en la pantalla principal solo aparece ruso e inglés.

HolaHello @sabiduriaxxjim, thank you for putting this tutorial so that people can translate but, without wanting to offend, I think it is a little complicated and can be simplified ... at least when it comes to games in Ren'py, I can not speak for those created in Unity.

Hola @sabiduriaxxjim, se agradece que hayas puesto este tutorial para que la gente pueda traducir pero, sin querer ofender, creo que es un poco complicada y se puede simplificar... al menos en lo que se refiere a juegos en Ren'py, no puedo hablar para los creados en Unity.
Aquí unos simples pasos:
- UsaYou must be registered to see the linkspara descomprimir los archivos del juego (esto te generará los archivos ".rpy" que necesitas para la traducción)
- Utiliza un editor de texto avanzado para abrir los archivos ".rpy", por ejemplo "Editra", "Notepad ++", "Visual Studio", "Atom", etc... No necesitas un editor hexadecimal. Por experiencia, Editra es muy fácil y sencillo, Notepad ++ normalmente trabaja bien pero a veces puede guardar los archivos mal, mejor evitarlo para no tener que ir repasando que es lo que ha guardado mal (básicamente espacios y separación entre lineas), el Visual Studio tiene la ventaja que puedes añadirle el corrector ortográfico, y del Atom solo he oído hablar pero no lo he utilizado...en resumen, si no quieres complicarte, Editra.
- Como bien te ha comentado @sabiduriaxxjim, cambia solo las frases entre " ", lo demás será código que no debes modificar.
PD: No hay problema en usar acentos o "ñ", solo hay que vigilar con algunos caracteres que renpy usa para código, por ejemplo, si en una frase quieres poner ", tiene que ir con un \ delante: ejemplo: mc "bla, bla, bla, \"blablablba\", bla, bla, bla" (las comillas de cada punta son las que utiliza Ren'py para identificar que es un diálogo, las del centro son las que tu quieres que salgan en la frase que quieres decir, y para que el programa no se confunda, pon \ justo antes).
En realidad el proceso es muy simple, lo laborioso es ir traduciendo
