Bad about the game that it doesnt explains how to play it. There are different kinds of NPCs and events - some NPCs always stay where they are and talk random stuff(dont skip time), some say something and then disappear and either reapear next day in other location(dont skip time) and there are NPCs like your wife and daughter and NTR Npcs that talk to you and either further events each day or say same stuff each day(skip time). After time skip - by either talking or working alls time skip events disappear for the day and you need to go home and sleep. Next day they all reapear again. Town seems empty because nearly each building has your wife and daughter in them(sometime multiply times, with different dialogs) but once you spoken with them they dissear for rest of the day, making the map look empty. But since the day/night circle isnt being shown here unlike in other games, you dont notice this first. And yeah - this game needs return home button, because running all the way back is terrible.

No kidding. They just leave you right there at the beggining with no idea about where to do go or what to do. I'm waiting for someone to drop a full save because this thins is unplayable.
