Yeah the controls are really wonky. You might be right, when in the base camp if Gwen is with Owain the text boxes with their dialogue is illegible.

It's very wonky. I found trying to break the restrictions fun, but it's definitely not intuitive or easy to get good results from.

It's definitly not designed for tablets, because the control methods are arrow keys or two button mouse. Why they decided on these controls, I don't know.

That's an intentional choice to simulate overhearing snippets of conversation.

Is combat avoidable?

Yes. You can select Story difficulty and avoid all the actual battles. I think it's a worse experience, but it's there.

Cool avoidable NTR, I hope there will be many scenes in that route. Avoiding NTR makes me feel like I really won against all the other guys, sadly most games stick to the extremes, either the other guys never have a chance and it defaults to harem or there are no scenes for LI and Mc together. With adjustable difficulty there should be space for more in between.

How is combat challenge thought? Do weapons breaks on use?
And probably gonna wait for that "no NTR route". It's harder to find decent tactical game than decent porn game anyway.

Was kinda finicky to play, but then I'm not a fan of rpgm games anyway so ymmv. I appreciated the option to skip all the battles. I'd like to see a path where the axe girl gets equally touched up by the guys and is shared amongst them, I know that can happen to the genderbent MC, but I'd kinda like a way for it to happen to her and then have the MC be with the needy spear lady.

I feel Space shouldn't skip dialogue, it's more convenient to hit than enter and should basically just go line by line in the same way.

Weapons don't break. Good ones are pretty limited though.

You can rebind the controls in the game's config file. I agree that space being skip is pretty annoying. By deafult esc closes the whole game, I manually got rid of that option in the config before I uploaded the game files.

How painful it is really depends on the route. There's five main endings and each of those have variations. For example which guy Gwenivier ends up with doesn't change the route, they all count as the same but have different flavor. The happiest route is Carwyn+Gwenivier, the saddest is both Gwenivier and Vivian being stolen away. The fem Carwyn route is kind of messed up, but he ends up happy enough.

It's a tactics RPG like Fire Emblem. but SRPG is literally a synonym for the same thing. They're interchangeable.
