I suppose I understand the confusion for those who have English as a second language, but the short form of whore is "ho" and a hoe is a farming/gardening tool so the joke seemed kind of obvious from the beginning, especially when looking at who the author was. But as a guy who generally hates April Fools, it was good to have an April Fools joke that gave me a laugh for once. Good stuff.
