I think I'll just fall back on, if it floats their boat. I mean, at one time rape in hentai bothered me. Now it's weird when the manga's 100% wholesome. Some of the other Atelier Sakura games have descriptions that sound terrible, but I went ahead and played them since the art is good and the endings aren't bad. 'My Beloved Childhood Friend Sleeps with Anyone' sounds like a serious cuck game, but both endings have the MC still participating. Ones just a bit more sticker than the other. I expected a bad ending for 'My friend stole my girlfriend' but the extended ending was honestly kind of wholesome.

The MC in 'NTR Sisters Mia and Yumi' is kind of annoying me a bit since he's putting women on a pedestal. Like dude, everyone is flawed, Mia's kind of pissing me off with her 'I cannot be with the one I love for I am corrupted', like seriously? Those four need to sit down and have a non-drugged dinner (for once) and MC needs to treat the relationship for what it is. Sex friends. The world is vast and unknowable, use the sisters for what they want and find someone better later on if it's not his cup of tea. Just be grateful that STD/STIs aren't a thing in most Hentai. Plus I'm guessing the sisters are on contraceptives (lotta cum and no missing periods) so it's fine. My fear with cheating is getting saddled with a kid that isn't mine and having the court system make me a 'dad by default' regardless of DNA test results. That and it's much easier for a girl to cheat than a guy.

Honestly, if STD/STIs weren't a thing in the real world, heredity was traced through the matron line instead of the patron line, and the court systems saw it that way, then a lot of these games would be downright normal.

I think it's just the not-participating part that bugs me in this game. He could just watch porn for all it would change. It's like they're just stuck.

Not exactly the case. MC stops participating in their swinging parties because his grandfather is in the hospital, and he spends most of his days visiting him. He didn't just stop. The other 3 aren't being mean about it either. They had been swinging for a while before MC has to step away, and since MC didn't tell his gf to stop, they didn't really think it was a big deal to continue without him. The moment his friend realizes that MC caught them in the act and ran away, he called him out to talk about it. That's when his friend realized that it was different than before, and by not including him, it's cheating. His gf came to the same conclusion and was ready to stop before MC confessed the "cheating" excited him. So, they decided to continue their arrangement, and MC and his gf remained a happy, though unconventional couple. There was no maliciousness to it. They just didn't stop to consider that it was different without MC present, but were able to come to an understanding in the end.

Speaking as someone who used to be an unabashed Atelier Sakura lover, your description perfectly encapsulates why I've gotten burned out from their games. AS's adherence to certain tropes can often come at the expense of believability.

I'm purely going off your description ( haven't played the game) but is that seriously the trigger for ntr? The MC didn't explicitly tell the gf and his friends that they need to inform him before they have sex? Like that is genuinely asinine. If you flipped the situation and the MC fucked his friend's GF while the friend was dealing with a personal tragedy, then the MC and the GF would be considered to be cheating. It's generally understood that fucking people in committed relationships is cheating, especially if you haven't talked about it first.

But no, since it's AS, this is actually a positive development because every protagonist they create must be a cuckold. The MC can be a cuckold by choice, a cuckold by accident, a cuckold by circumstance, a cuckold by aphrodisiac, it doesn't matter as long as the MC is a cuckold.

Have you been on the Netorase list?

Although I dont think there are a lot of games where you swap lovers.
But there are most definetly few games with TRUE Netorase, where your wife/girlfriend always stays loyal no matter how many times she sleeps with other men.

These games are top tier in the Netorase genre, so if you didnt try them I definetly recommend.

Translator here. I can understand Japanese particles and have a grasp of the Subject-Object-Verb form, but my Japanese vocab is super weak consisting of about 700 words which is practically nothing, and translating sounds is super hard for me, so I used Google Translate for the vocab and sounds. Since I leaned on Google Translate as heavily as I did, I felt it would be more fair to call it a MTL with heavy proofreading. Remember this was a free translation including graphic rework done in eight days on a game that turned out to be depressing to translate. This is also my first translation. If you have actual criticism, please go to the translation thread linked in the description and point out the lines you have issues with. Also know that the original story was poorly written to begin with. Never forget, garbage in equals garbage out. I didn't translate a Pulitzer.

Anyway, there have been decent swing/swap games. 'Gyaruzuma Sex - Hoka no Otoko ni Inwai Houshi Suru Ai Suru Tsuma' was pretty good and had a cuck as the protag but showed both POV. 'My Girlfriend Gets Aroused Watching Me Having Sex With Another Girl' is pretty good, but you're not a cuck. Your GF is. So it's from the better POV. 'Gal Kano Selfish Body and Uninhibited Girlfriend' wasn't so great since it's implied that the MC never does a raw shot but the other guys do. It's one of those; the better POV would be the GFs, stories. I liked the 'What's Mine is Yours' series. Especially since it uses the Koikatsu engine. I dislike some of the swap stories that are good stories, but use other more 'realistic' game systems or make unrealistic bodys in Koikatsu. No girl is going to have a waist that small and boobs that big without implants. The only criticism I have for the WMIY series is that the latest entries are slow coming and the story is getting routes and dealing with realistic issues. The first three were super campy kinetic novels and I ate that up. The new one is still good, but I miss that 'throw everything at the wall and see what sticks' methodology the first three had. Still enjoying every second of it.

the funny thing about mayu is that I don't think she even enjoyed it just by looking at her face expect maybe in the swinging route where she does seem to enjoy herself, otherwise, its like she lacks emotions, and shes is oddly quiet, also yes id love to see swinging party translated I tried going it myself but its too of a daunting task, and that ending you mentioned is chefs kiss I lived down the ntr guy gets fucked over

I like the story when the POV isn't focused exclusively on the cuck or the cuck is still having sex and not being excluded. My primary hatred of NTR games/manga is exclusion or lesser involvement. That's the part that hurts me. This story has two routes, though the swing route is shorter. The cuck route has the worst kind of protag. He stops participating in the sex. Now if his dick was like super tiny or he was a jerk I wouldn't care, but it's the same size as the other guys and he's a decent guy. It just feels like the other three are being mean. Ironically in swing party there is a size difference, but that game handles it really well.

yeah and it deals with possible pregnancy responsible like then the ntr guy cum in the mc girl they actually go to the hospital to sort it out (I read it in a review once)

Oh, don't get me wrong. It is stupid, and it wasn't that good of a game. I was just describing the overall plot of the game. And to parrot what the person I replied to said, I also hate when the MC follows the same stupid trope of, "I want to say something, but I'm too scared. So, I'll just stay silent while my LI is taken/has sex with other men." I like NTR, but be more creative than that.

I can never get these Japanese games to run, I just get errors but I don't know what the errors are because they are in Japanese.

You have to put your system in Japanese Local mode. This will give access to the unicode pages needed for these games. It will also turn your path markers "\" into yen symbols on applications that are not unicode aware. Those programs are kind of rare and in my case are mostly older installers. In Windows 10 cmd was Unicode unaware, but in Windows 11 it is aware. Other than that, I've been running my system in Japanese Local mode for years without issue. This does NOT turn everything into Japanese on your system. That's system language and I don't suggest using a non-native language as a system default.

I'm trying to update the MixDrop and UploadHaven links, but it's either broken or super slow. I didn't create those original links. I've updated the Gofile, Pixeldrain, and Mega links.

The change is small. From translation work I've been doing with Yambidexter on another game, we've figured out how to get full names working. We've also got the original color dialogs per character working. This was a fast fix and I didn't really test it out beyond confirming that it worked in the opening chapter. You only need the translation patch v2 if you already have the game.
