I haven't played in a while, but I do know that Bethesda is doing everything it can to inconvenience both players and modders. Due to multiple random updates (mostly for paid mod crap). The majority of mods available no longer function, especially for the latest update.

Between this, and how old the game is, most modders have abandoned the community and no longer update their stuff. The ones that remain active, typically focus on specific game versions rather than the latest update. If I were to guess, this is likely the issue tbh.

I remember that the modding meta became something related to modpacks. Your best bet may be to find a modpack your interested in, find what game version that one uses and start from there. AFIAK, modpacks are specifically for Nexus, but as long as you know which mods are in the pack, and what version you'll be using, you should still be able to add mods from loverslab.
