great game, great story, great animations
this is a top notch game i have played years ago i suppose i played again today and it was still impressive more then before it is such a shame it is stopped being improving in such a length please support the developer if that makes them to complete what they started

I really enjoy the plotnand the story, it helps me greatly to be immersed in the lore of the porn I am enjoying. Animations are nice, even if the models are simplistic. The world is rich, and backdrops have love and effort put into it. My only complaint is the grind, but patreon cheats can be used to sidestep that.

I'm reviewing game version 0.1.2 Public.
The writing is subpar, the scenes are okay-ish basic koikatsu animations but the character models are very boring. Nothing too interesting or unique in terms of characters. Some very basic stereotypes, which is not necessarily bad if done right. But this game clearly does it wrong.
The childhood friend, the maid, the clumsy blonde etc. but there is really no depth to any of these, which is a bit boring. You can usually already tell what they're going to say about certain topics immediately before even talking to them, since they're so predictable.
A lot of grindy mini-games. Could be improved with some heftier upgrades or better equipment to make the grind less grindy. Or make the mini-games a bit more interesting or challenging. The story is nothing much either. Your average Isekai-harem story basically, with some mysterious evil lurking in the dark. Kind of meh.
The rest is basically all forced drama here and there or the occasional new "mysterious thing." Until it turns out its just another girl, about to join your harem usually. Feels a bit all over the place like this like there is no clear aim in mind. A lot of the girls are unavailable or only partially available, which is a bummer.

Probably the most complex renpy game I've seen, but I'm not sure it really benefits from that complexity.

If you're looking for something you can spend a good amount of time with, if this keeps your interest it's a good few hours currently.

The premise should open plenty of interesting possiblities for characters and scenarios. Having completed most of 0.1.2 I'm not sure it made use of those possibilities.

Character models are fine. Possibly the main letdown is the fact that almost every single character has a boob size ranging from massive to ridiculous. You don't have to push the sliders all the way to the right, you know.

Lewd scenes somehow felt uninspired or abrupt.

The writing is fine generally, but there are plenty of weird grammar mistakes.

The character card UI element is cute but seems unnecessarily animated. The buttons taking some time to move into place when you open a character window is annoying if you want to click any of them.

The top right UI elements taking time to open (in particular the map) is frustrating as well.

As with any game that has minigames or side things (gathering), these things feel kind of tacked on and very rarely add anything other than a time sink.

A game with a lot of ambition that doesn't deliver. The sandbox is set up very clumsy. The writing is frankly poor, and I didn't find any of the sexual content compelling at all.

The skill trees and points system are a mess, and I just couldn't continue this. YMMV, but for me this just wasn't very entertaining.

Good game, the dev is working good and is not doing weird things in the game. The chars are good and relevant. The story is good. I just want more male don scenes, they are perfect. I recomend this game to anyone who likes koikatsu art and harem story

With that out of the way, let's talk about HHG. HHG plays out like a Saturday morning anime--with porn! Seriously, in a positive sense, the story set up, characters you meet and overall progression feel like it came straight out of the Land of the Rising Sun...with the poor translation quality that plagued the 80's and 90's to match. This poor translation sadly colors the player's perception of the characters and ultimately negatively affects the experience by quite a bit. Thankfully, since the characters are essentially the tropes you often see in most harem anime, you know who is who, but I can't stress enough just how disappointing it is especially in light of just how well done everything else is. The menus are clean, well-designed and of high quality. A lot of time and care has been put into the world and design and the girls are absolutely gorgeous with cute animations. I'm not sure if the creator is using a newer version of Koikatsu, but whatever it is, the result is a joy to behold. (Koikatsu pink stick dick notwithstanding.)

Positives
+ A delightful bevy of beautiful girls (seriously, "best in show" level for Koikatsu)
+ Breezy, easygoing gameplay and story. There is conflict and drama driving the plot, yet it manages to maintain a pleasant atmosphere.
+ MC is a good person with a heroic quality to him and, as such, makes the harem feel a bit more earned than other games in this genre.

Negatives
- English dialog needs a lot of work. It is stilted and unnatural and really brings the whole experience down.
- Grindy, but honestly not too bad since the activities you do for cash (fishing and mining atm) aren't as odious as other grinds.
- No bush. Again, bush adds personality and is a great differentiator in games like this when everyone basically looks the same below the waist. (Also, like the cat girl who can't even be bothered to bathe is gonna be clean shaven. C'mon.)

I know I'm stressing it a lot and, normally, poor English really isn't that big of a deal; I've played plenty of games that I count among my favorites that have English usage of a similar quality. What really causes it to hurt here is that this game relies heavily on creating a story with charming and likable characters. I wouldn't go as far as to say the sexual content is secondary to the story, but it's important enough to cause the deficiences to stand out and detract greatly from the experience.

So there you have it. While I clearly enjoyed the game enough to stick with it for as long as I did and spend real money on it, I often found myself trying to rewrite dialog in my head and I couldn't help but imagine just how much more enjoyable and entrancing the game could be if the writing were punched up.

Note to devs: Thank you for the time and effort you put in this game. Please try to find a native speaker to help with writing and dialog. By and large, you are so close to being one of the best in the engine and genre, but having natural English dialog and writing would really take this project to the next level. Also, consider adding some bush to some of the forthcoming ladies.

So i played the version 0.1.2 and this game starts really slow it's kinda laggy and the UI could use some streamlining but as i got further in the game the story got alot better and the jokes actually got a chuckle or two out of me so i think this game will be worth the play... when it's done.

Developer is mean and map design is sloppy. There are serious problems in map design that need to be fixed. It's unnecessarily complicated and you're likely to get lost. The interface is nice but the explanations are insufficient.

Solid 5*.

First of all, I'm amazed that all of this is made on Ren'Py, even though the features make the game a bit slow on response. I definitely recommend this game if you're looking for a solid and interactive work. Renders are amazing with careful attention to details. Writing is very good as well - I found myself laughing at times and I surely never teared up under my helmet at the certain renunion event.

I should address the talk about grind I saw in other reviews. Yes, the game is pretty grindy, but it's not that bad and the build up it adds to the story in the long run is surely worth it. I played without cheats and honestly it wasn't a chore. I would recommend investing in fishing and just spend a few days fishing at the market for the legendary fish (7s each). It's more than enough for a while.

Go for this game if you want a GAME, wouldn't recommend it for a quick fap.

Never met so much grind in my life. And cheats are of a little help. And I have to say from my experience that games should be playable on normal lvl and w/o any cheats at all.
Otherwise game is pretty cool with nice original story, well developed characters and unexpected twists. But to play from morning till evening just to see the very 1st handjob... Same time it took me to conquer whole Africa and bed Cleopatra in the Expeditions: Rome.

Game commits the cardinal sin of Sandbox games, Extreme grind, very little sex, weak MC who acts like a moron and doesn't grow as a character for an extended period of time. Overall the sandbox is added in to add bloat and runtime to a game that could be finished in less than half the time if it wasn't completely inflated with grinding.

I am fine with games with little amount of sexual content if the story is good, however this game substitutes both the story, and sex scenes with, You guessed it, a grindy sandbox. The only time this amount of grind should be allowed is if there is an abundance of sex scenes that you get as well, unfortunately they are few and far between, overall even though the renders and girls are well done, good luck soldier cuz you are going off to war on this one.

Edited to add: Also just realized that the game hasn't been updated in over a year, so I doubt this one is going anywhere in the near future, and a side note, Im not sure how the DL file is so damn large, it needs to be optimized

a grinding type of AVN with a "manga fantasy guild" setting. It's quite unusual to get my attention.

The girls are good looking and diverse visually enough to keep entertainment high.

The grind is there but not too much at the moment, and the leveling up of the girl is good.

The humour is well present and the game has funny moments.

Currently i'd say the weak points are:
- the need to farm resources at first (quite classical) but then no need for some time, then need, etc. so it is not well "balanced" with the girl aspects.
- the lack of repetitiveness of the scenes (ecchi or sexual ones).
- the collectibles item must be paid with money and XP and it diverts too much resources from the real gaming experience. It feels like artificial augmentation of the gameplay time.
- the sex scenes which are quite "boring" : not bad, just not detailed, some action, cum, over, next. It's too bad seen how good the girls are modelled.

I have big hopes for the game all considered, hence the 4 stars rating.

Edit: music and sound is there but not consistently so it should be improved definitely.

There is more story and content in this game's prologue than in many "completed" games on the site. It’s fun and a good time, with quality art and not much grind. There are a few times where the hero is a little dense and misses some things that ought to have been obvious but they are few and far between and for the most part the MC, even in this early part of the game, starts to grow into being not an idiot all the time. It’s a solid game already and barring catastrophe I can’t see it doing anything but getting better.

Truly one of my favorite games I have played from this site.
The writing is better than most, with some moments that actually made me laugh out loud. The character models are solid, and I haven't noticed any major glitches, and the characters themselves are enjoyable and have some depth. I feel as though some aspects of the game are unnecessarily hard (fishing, upgrades), and sometimes the game does slow and shutter, but overall this game is an absolute pleasure and I cannot wait to see more.

First a heads up, I haven't completed the game but I played for a long time, probably more than 10 hours.

The game is a giant unnecessary grindfest. You have to make money through minigames, have to increase girls' relationship little by little with the same repeating scenes and you may be rewarded with a kiss!!! Sex scenes later on also have a tendency to be interrupted (for example just as you start another girl will barge in and even if everything goes smooth you get like 6-7 penetrative sex whole game) Even this grind alone is enough for me to not recommend the game.

Sandbox is totally a failure. All it does is forcing you to click more, doesn't bring anything to the table. If you're not advancing the story you're barely able to do anything with the girls! Talk, action, spend time options are mostly empty so why make it a sandbox if there is nothing to access at will?

I hate the MC. He's basically worthless loser but every girl in town loves him already. He's supposed to be the hero of the town but he's a weakling, can't fight (he says it himself). In earlier scenes he will turn down girls' advances because you know he's a white knight, but guess what dipshit nobody asked for your opinion.

In total there are too few scenes, I stopped playing the game but I was almost at the end judging by the gallery and tips in the characters screen (it tells you when you exhausted a girl's content). And most of the scenes doesn't involve penetration.

Also keep in mind that last update was well over a year ago. Not a single update in 2021.

Why not 1 star after all this? Well, girls are really cute and have great personalities so that's +1.

As a porn game it falls flat on its face it takes actual hours before really anything happens and even then you mostly never get the option to repeat

You just dont really have much options to interact with the characters outside the cutscenes you get forced into when you enter certain rooms after reaching the next level

It's a pretty vanilla game in terms of porn, which it doesn't tend to be my cup of tea but having said that, the thing i appreciate the most in a game is quality and this game has it. Great game with an amazing future.

I just starting playing now so i cant say much, but for what i see and expect, the game will be great and i hope to keep playing until is finished 100% and if the game suprises me in the long run i will follow the dev for all my life to see what kind of games he will creat in the future!!!
