Comics Goblin Ambush! [2023-15-09] [Datamining]

I just stumbled on this thread. Well I am the artist that made that gobbo ambush series and I can see someone complains about low resolution? Well my older work tend to be lower resolution but really even the early Goblin Ambush pictures I have in decent 4k resolution uploaded to e-hentai already.
Also new "chapter" is out adding another 35 full 4k images to the story. As for missing text... well I aint much of a writer really and this is just some ridiculous hobby project of mine.

HI, in my "complain" I was mostly referring to the image format, you used 1:1 ratio (square format) while it would be more suitable a 16:9 or 16:10 to take all the screen, like usual. I've seen your full resolution and your latest works are no more square format.
I also want to repeat this:

This guy is probably the most skilled I have seen in posing the dresses and other details. With a bit more effort he could make a lot of money publishing completed CGI comics or VNs. Just look at each rendering, also their complexity, that suggests me he has got also good harware because you need a lot of GPU RAM to pose and render such scenes.
He is much more skilled than so many other celebrated developers.

So DataMining, why don't you make a VN? You really have got the best skills I've seen, by far, in posing with the most accurate expressions and body morphs. They look so realistic, the quality is astonishing. If you are able to partner with a skilled writer you really could make a lot of money.
I guess that this level of detail is probably not sustainable for a VN, that needs hundreds of images with each release. But really, the quality of your images is incredible. Chapeau.

yeah the old square images where limitations of my 10 year old PC that I used. Had to squeeze stuff out and didnt bother too much about sharing stuff. After some folks requested 16:9 formats I changed that and I also started upgrading my old computer.
As for making a VN? Well I wanted to for a while but the fact is that I work full time and have so limited time to do 3d that I have already a hard time getting anything done.
I tried teaming up with some nice folks but it fell apart because I just could not find the time (100% my fault). Maybe ill give it a shot again.
Lastly, since most of my stuff and interests are not really your typical harem builder I am not sure that many would actually be interested in a VN based on my goblin stuff. I to make 100s of images I need to be invested in it so it cant really be something outside my own interests.

Yes probably in your circumstances the best bet is just to produce a comic/CGI story as a hobby, because producing a VN take really a lot of time. But if you had the resources, a VN with your photographic style would stand apart (obviously the plot should be engaging too).

I agree that your subject is not among the usual ones for VNs but it still could have its public. I find harem VNs usually quite boring. Myself I'm not into goblins but I really like how you render, the use of light and different lenses, the focal blur. And the dresses and body shapes changing in each pose, I've never done CGI so I don't know how you can do it but I see almost nobody does it. For example, usually boobs look the same in every position, like they are made of plastic. But in your images they adapt, they change, they feel real, made of real flesh. And you are also good in conveying the sense of movement in a static image, that's really difficult to achieve! I find each composition is very well chosen. Probably you have a photographer's knowledge apart from 3D skills.
If you ever made YouTube videos on how you produce this kind of images, please let me know. When I'll have a new PC with a decent graphic card I am curious to try DAZ and Blender.

yeah, would have to find someone to bounce ideas off / help with writing. Could be interesting though and its not like I havent thought of making cgi VN with some actual decent writing.

Not that into blender since it wasnt around when I started doing 3d stuff. Most of my knowledge is based on Maya and then I just render / setup scenes in DAZ. But let me know if I can help you out mate anytime.

Well, I for one am all for the idea of Hermione discovering the depths of her new love for various monsters (especially goblins).

The only thing I would change for your work is the fact I prefer the goblins of Goblin Slayer better in term of looks, but that's less of a problem and more of a personal preference.

Otherwise, your work is awesome, and I look forward to seeing more of it!

Well, more like smaller, and with the iconic yellow/golden eyes.

A problem I have with some of the ways goblins are shown is that they are too tall, or have human eyes, or the likes.

I'm not entirely against some bigger goblins, I just prefer them to obviously be sub-species rather than the norm (like the hobgoblins and goblin champions or paladins in Goblin Slayer.)

But otherwise, goblins should be small, green, yellow-eyed and, well, truly monstrous in every ways.

The Goblins of "Goblin Ambush" are by far the best goblins I've ever seen, anywhere and I know goblins (I dated one once). The gross dicks on them set them apart from any other models. Hope you never change them. PS I Love your work
