Big Brother Remake Story is a port of original Big Brother afterall.

I'm not a hacker or a coding guru. I was able to make a BB port because of two things:
1 - all the dialogues and text in .txt files, which can be opened with a normal notepad
2 - it is a program created by Vikar73, with the help of his program I managed to find out the conditions for launching dialogues and events.
And all the rest I had to think up myself.
Here the game is not written on Unity. It is made on Electron. It is not difficult to get a file with the game script. But it is very difficult for me personally to understand this code. It is not known whether all the text is there, or somewhere else there are files with text.

. Decompiled JS with the help of some site and replaced unicode with UTF-8 (not everywhere, but only where there were dialogues). Just by looking at it, you can see that this would not be an easy task to port to RenPy, where the code is done in Python, not JS (not sure what sub-species of JS).

I am having the same problem when I try and start 0.57 on crossover on mac it just is a gray blank screen and I don't know how to fix it. Does anyone have a solution?

It's a matter of taste.
I'm the other way around, incapable to play a game with a female protagonist. So It would be great to have both integrated so every one can enjoy

You can always add a line "The End" to a story or a game ... it's up to the writer.
Glamour and BB are sandbox games, so they are open ended ...
Since no new content is added, you can assume that they are "completed" ...

I personally prefer bigger non-completed good games over shorter completed games ...

The problem there, is that both actually have stories and overarching plotlines.

Many games have a premise to "set the scene", but both BB and Glamour went beyond that, having characters with stories attached to them as well as both setting up singular larger plots that the smaller ones are connected to, and neither were finished up prior to be being abandoned.

It wouldn't be an issue if story/plot were optional to progress things, but they're not. They're all tied in together, gating things off until you've done/seen certain parts of each storyline and the overall plot.

How. I see a sandbox.
1. sandboxes are either an addition to the main story, and completing the story is important to completing the game. In this case, the sandbox allows you to give more than 1 end of the game.
2. sandboxes are based on gameplay. In this case, the plot comes down to the reason why this happens and a description of the process.

You can't add "The End" in the middle of the stage.
