Has anyone ever really played this game without cheating or using a save from someone else ?.
I played this years ago and thought it was a disaster, I found the WT and thought i'd try again.
My new opinion is it's more like the dumpster behind the abortion clinic than a simple disaster

I played without cheating. I have to admit that the game is difficult. However, I can say that it is the most enjoyable and social game among the games. but the developer abandoned the game. Because the market loves renpy games. Everyone wants to see porn without the hassle of clicking. no matter how much they are called games. He has slightly less patrons than when he decided to abandon Farmers Dreams, so I don't think it was a popularity issue. Maybe it was just too difficult in terms of programming skills. Renpy games are easier in that regard.
For the question above, imho the game isn't really hard especially with the walkthrough.

he managed to do (probably at least) 50-60% of the game in rpgm, including many missions/quest, paths etc...and now all of sudden rpgm has became "too difficult"?
i dont think so, unless there are few of them and the one who did coding/game wrapping has left the team. if that was the case, wouldnt be easier to find replacement, than to venture into whole new adventure with renpy?
i think that he has just got tired of rpgm ("burnt out" in popular terms) so he switched to renpy.
oh, also, i would bet he expected more support as well, yet in that department he kinda failed.
imo, it is a shame, this game was one of the best adult rpgms around, and its renpy "remake" isnt near its quality (and no amount of (super)Nova can change it) - it is yet another pretty dumb enforced juvenile fuckfest where every chick is in love with mc and cant wait to jump on his cock...while mc finds every girl attractive and cant wait to fuck her.
(ofc, similar games do have their dedicated public/supporters, yet again, imo, such a waste of a great story and characters)

I have tried Love season first and then tried this one. In my opinion this game is much better than Love Season. Characters and the world feels much more fleshed out here. Not mentioning the NTR is non existent in Love Season (I wish there was more NTR here and hoping this game will still continue to completion in the future) Not a big fan of harem as realistically speaking you can't have all the girls for yourself anyway, so why not have the other guys have a go at them too. The world can be more immersive that way as the world doesn't revolve just around the MC.

"Genre list"? I assume you mean the game's tags. I'd also assume someone could look at the tags starting with n and see it there, although it's now shown as netorare (instead of ntr), so maybe they skimmed past it not realizing it's just written differently now.

Those aren't the Tags, the Tags are at the top with the title and date, with the clickable links.
The Genre is supposed to be a description of what the game will be once completed , the Tags show what is there now.
(it really is lazy/confusing to use the same "Tag" method for both but it is what it is)

How far did dev get in this game,last I played you couldn't get into cave behind MC farm. Played the other version delete game after 5 minutes playing.

Yes, exactly. Don't look at that for what's currently in the game; look at all those funny dark grey boxes at the top of each page on this thread to see what's in the game right now.

Actually, both follow the same rules of having just current content, but the genre spoiler is more customizable therefore making it a good place for future tags, so devs are allowed to put future stuff there as long as it's properly separate and marked as future/planned content.

Actually, I see far too often a vast discrepancy between the OP's "Genre" spoiler and the tags on the top of a game thread. I don't think it makes sense ever to rely on the OP for any content other than what's planned. (In fact, Rule #2.7 specifically says "The Genres section can include more specific tags/genres/fetishes" (emphasis added). Notice that is uses can, not must.
Yes, tags at the top of a game are definitely not always current. But I see far fewer updates to the things listed in the OP spoiler than the tag list. Those are rarely kept up-to-date after the initial post is created (and maybe an update or two thereafter).

In the current version you can get in the cave behind the farm.. there's even a scene for it at some point after you get it open

Yeah .. I'm not a fan of it either. But, apparently, there are a lot of people who are. I played it for a day then wiped it. Maybe some day this will get picked back up. But I doubt it.
