VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Ecchi Sensei [Day 22-23 Final] [BlueCat]

The Week 1 compilation that was delayed for so long was, in my opinion, worth the delay and effort put into it. My original review still maintains all the good points that I made previously however with day 6 and 7 I had more than a few issues related with bugs and game crashes. This new and improved Week 1 version has seen all of it ironed out as I played from a completely fresh save and had absolutely nothing go wrong through the 10 hours it took me from start to finish.

There is a new UI that is very useful and can be hidden away as to not break immersion and helps when keeping track of the many characters in this story.

The visuals are more polished than ever before, like a new coat of paint on our favorite house and the addition of the special episodes without having to download them individually was a rather welcome surprise.

Overall this new update is a very welcome benchmark and I hope it keeps this level of quality through out. Very impressed by it, kudos to the development team!

[Original Review at the release of Day 5 and the Christmas and New Year's Specials]:
As a long time lurker it takes something truly special and unique to make me step out of my comfort zone to comment/review something. Ecchi Sensei is that. A game with a promising premise, interesting characters with enough variety that every flavour of ice-cream is available.

The story is both good and believable and the character interactions between each other and the MC are organic enough that do not break the illusion of the fantasy for me. The pacing is a little fast imo, as of this release it is only day 5 in the story yet we are already progressing into several intimate relationships with various characters, some of which are the MC family, but i like to think of it as the conditions were already set there and we are just driven into them.

All of the characters are unique in their own way, with their own quirks and story-lines some more interesting than others admittedly. I personally think the game shines the most when the MC is interacting with family members or the students in its class. It also provides a bold, non traditional, Dark-Mind patch/expansion which enables several highly controversial taboos such as under-age relationships and forced sexual relations (rape) but this is completely optional and is OFF by default, must be downloaded and turned ON for that content, which in my opinion was the best way to avoid any complications this may arise.

It is a visual novel so there is not much in terms of game mechanics, you can choose what decisions you make, and that will affect the narrative but that is about it. Will be interesting to see what endings we will get based on our choices, the Wrong Decisions episode part of the Christmas special comes to mind as a very plausible scenario.

Pros:
- Story, good and believable as far as porn games go.
- Characters, lots of variety in the models and personality with solid interactions between not only the MC but each other as well.
- The Dark-Mind optional content, enabling a larger and more controversial portion of the game, adding depth to it.
- Humour, the game is actually funny at some parts, gets a positive from me there.
- Grammar, it is well written and have spotted only minor mistakes.
- Bugs, having played all of the releases so far I have not come across a single bug and the game has also NOT crashed on me yet.

Cons:
- The pacing, imo it is a little to fast.
- Some features were to be implemented but were later removed due to complications, some better planning ahead might have been advised but this is minor. Hope it does not become a symptom.

Overall I would say this game is worth your time playing it and your support on Patreon if you so desire to, it at least stands out from the crowd.

This is really a great game. Characters are slowly introduced and the story is more than promising. A day in the game takes like 3 or more hours to play - great!

Love it so far and look forward to future releases, wish anal was a tag here but the characters memorable and interesting. Saki's been awesome since day 1 but yuki kinda reminds me of the girls in the shining, just generally creepy, i am bad with kids, maybe thats it *shrugs*

One of the best games that i played of this genre.
The content of every day is very big. You have multiple hours of gameplay every day of the game.
You have a lot of options for create your own history this is very interesting beacause you can miss or reach some diferents scenes or histories if you choose diferents options.
The history is a little cliche but on this case it doesn't matter.
In this game we have a lot of sexual content, and in the dark patch we cross the line of some taboos.
I hope you can enjoy this game!

Game overall is good and fun.

Pros: Enjoy the pacing. Choices actually matter here unlike most other games. There are plenty of fetishes that you can want to replay some choices to see more.

Cons: The game is hard to deal with multiple downloads that require previous chapters to actually. It gets worse with the patches that would conflict and cause the saves to be incompatible. Better to have an option to able skip previous save, such as just have questions in the beginning of new chapters/days to bypass older saves. Also 3d models are not the best on many characters. I understand trying to give more uniqueness to each character but main cast (IE. wife and daughters) should have better designs.

Would have given this 4 if not for the annoying incompatibility for the saves if you used patches/mods that would stop any plays at all.

Note: someone gave me a solution for the incompatibility saves (preference>start new game>load prev chap> start). Still give the same rating since that option should be at the title screen instead going to the preference menu...

Wasn't actually too sure about this game when I first saw it. The whole download each day thing seemed like a lot of work. Winded up giving it a chance anyway because of the deep mind patch details, so good job.

Started the game and at first I felt like the intro was a bit too long, but Himiko was an easy favorite that kept me playing. It took some getting used to, looking at something other than Honey Select models, but it's really great how it's not the usual. There's a lot of content in this game that made it more easy to like and replace one of my favorites on this site.

The protagonist has just the right amount of perversion, without the whole revenge feel another popular academy game is full of. A lot of the interaction and sexual scenes though, work nicely in the first place because of how little males are around, which is great. There's a lot of optional scenes as well, like Day 5's Haruka scene, or the choice between the Nurse's office or Sloth-Chan on Day .

It's really clear a lot of things are thought out, and the optional stuff isn't too necessary to get the context of things going on. I don't agree with the side angle shots, but there are some real clever ones, like hiding Masae's line of eyesight, before fully meeting her.

Game deserves all the money it's currently getting on Patreon, and I'm sure if it had even more a lot of things could be done to not make the planned 365 days to take 30 years of waiting. It's very great to even see any TBA's at all, and these holiday specials too.

Bluecat has really done a damn good job in only five months, that other games take like 12 to pull off.

Hell, It's been a while since I had not had so much fun, characters, personalities, writing, choices, history, a ton of references to famous Mangas. Everything is a huge job! The list for the positive points is very long.

This game has everything you want from a game. Maybe you want more frequent updates. I know I do.
But when you do get an update, it's always packed with content.
Not like other games that release after 2-5 months with 5 minutes of content. This is literally an hours worth nearly every time. If not more.
I'd say this is currently the best quality game on this site.

Edit. The characters are what brings the whole experience together.
The other parts of the game are not the best. For example the phone. But it's getting worked on I hear. The Story is getting there slowly. But the characters make up for everything else.

Really good story so far! Sometimes heartwarming, sometimes dark and often really funny.
And the story is only going to get better in the future (believe me i have my sources ^^)
Huge updates, that are mostly on time so far and always leave you wanting more when you're done with it.

My biggest complaint is that you can't just download this game and it be playable, you have to download all previous versions like they are separate games. It makes no sense and just invites critical errors along the way.

It sucks that this game is so unstable because the game play seemed promising but its difficult to want to play when you need to tinker with a fresh install just to make it work... You need to release a version where you can play through all the days in a single instance of the game.

First review I left, not something I would have thought I would do, but this game made me cave...

I really like all the options (and potential for future ones in this game, ranging from romantic to downright dark (Darkest Mind patch ftw! ), which makes you come back because you want to explore all of it. Not quite sure if I will do full reruns to test out the effects of all the options, but so far I have looked for every scene I could find cause they are just that good.

Right up there with DoD, DMD and such games on my list

Perfect:
There is a lot of content and variation considering the relatively short period of development. For people who enjoy many kinks in video games this is a goldmine.
While some called the dialogues with anime references "cringy", I liked them a lot. The style is quite unique and I chuckled more than once while reading MC's monologues.
Good:
The art is good but stays a little behind some other titles like AWAM or LLTP. But the art is still very nice and all girls look sexy.
bad:
There are some errors in the dialogue. But nothing critical. Also there is some inconsistency. Some features were introduced and removed later. It seems that the Dev has changed his mind.

Overall I enjoyed the game a lot and hope it gets more support.

Absolute masterpiece
(I played all the days until the end of Day 4)

Pros:
+ SO. MUCH. CONTENT.
+ Awesome characters (especially the daughters)
+ Almost every girl is likable and believable
+ Good writing
+ Good models (even for a Honey Select game)
+ Good graphics in general
+ 10/10 sexy stuff
+ A lot of words
+ A lot of images
+ Many different and unique personalities
+ A lot of fetishes
+ Immersive
+ Good MC
+ I just can't compliment this game enough

Cons:
- Pretty linear story (not actually a problem, but that's subjective)
- No option to completely avoid certain characters, only to skip some scenes (but they probably still happen off-screen)
- Cringy Japanese dialogues (probably not a problem if you're an otaku)


Honestly my top 1 adult game ever. I haven't played a thousand of them but I played the best ones, and this is without a doubt my favorite one. I'm afraid of attaching too much to this game because I've had bad experiences before. Maybe the devs will lose motivation, maybe they'll create an entire day dedicated to a girl that is a complete bitch, maybe the MC will be a cunt without giving me any choices, I don't know, I'm just being pessimist.

However, at the present (which is what matters) the game is a fucking masterpiece. No stupid situations, no dumb plot, no low-effort bullshit, just a good game with awesome fap material and interesting girls. You don't feel like you're fapping to a piece of cardboard.

I'll quote our lord and savior Sam Hyde: "Trust me, when you fire this game up, your little fucking nuts are gonna start quaking, buddy."

The Positives: The game has a ton of unique character designs that are well done. None of the textures look bad and none of the characters have notable derp faces. The characterization of the girls is unique and fun, with few of them being single note characters, which results in your actually liking the girls rather then just watching for the porn. The girl's seduction attempts, and your seductions of them takes place over time, rather than in one or two interactions which makes you invest more in the characters. For a beta/patreon game, this has a fuck ton of content for what amounts to a 0.4/0.04.

The Negatives; Jesus some of the weeb dialogue is cringey, creator really needs a proof reader/editor to clean up his dialogue and spelling errors. While there is a gigantic amount of content, and the content is coming quickly, the day structure ends up making the story feel a bit rushed, so much happens in a single day it's absolutely bonkers, and for narrative reason's it would probably make more sense if it was spread across a week or a few days instead.

Overall: For as new as this game is, and for as good as what is there is, it's top tier. Creator is creating a real story and the characterization of the girls makes them genuinely interesting. Some bad writing could hold it back, but I'm ignoring that as it's still deep in beta with only a few months of development.

Review as of Day 4/Halloween patch.

If you can survive all the cringy weeaboness (there's...lots nad lots of it in the writing), this game is fantastic. Otherwise...maybe 3/5 instead.
There's a ton of different characters and fetishes, different personalities and for the most part, the writing is solid. The only thing I can see that brings this down from a 5/5 to a 4/5 is all the "pantsu" and the like. There's no reason I can see for all the weeabo stuff. And it does get kind of annoying after a bit...

Everything I could hope for except pregnancy (so far, but love the risk), fucktabulous and can't wait to see more!

First I love the characters' personalities, they're definitely different from each other. You have to actually think about how each may react, and even in the beginning there are surprises.

Second, the story line is just fucking perfect! A pervy male teacher with a slutty submissive wife and beautiful daughters, who gets surrounded with horny girls and women craving male attention?! Holy shit I hope this gets as big as a street legal RPG!

Finally, this game is a feast for the pervy anime lovers into females, regardless if they like adult women, teens, buxom or tiny, there's something for everyone here especially with the "dark mode" function which enables lust to it's fullest in the game, which I think is perfect!

This might look slow for the first day 1 and day 2, but it's called VISUAL NOVEL for a reason.. If u don't care about background story and just want sex content, then i suggest you just go watch hentai or porn, you don't need to read there.. Why play a VN if you decide to "SKIP" the story.. People are feeling horny toward the MC is cause the town is basically dead, and its not like the already two sensei there is as handsome as the MC..

The game is starting to get more interesting day 3 onward.. the community is great as well. The story is great , the music is great, each character have their own background story so every one is unique and the plot is interesting. Looking forward to the next update.. Keep up the good work!

Fair warning that I normally don't like VN's so take that into consideration.
A ton of characters... that all like the MC for some unknown reason and are completely interchangeable. As would be expected there's very little ecchi/sex content in the first two days which amounts to several hours of reading about different girls and a the MC mentally reviewing the same info again and again. There are some parts that are worth a chuckle but those are covered up by your daughter being angsty then for no reason deciding she likes you again...
I finally gave up reading and just skipped to the scenes that I wanted to see which where alright, day 3 had some promise just not worth all the junk before.

[days 8-9]

I really love this game. Storywise it can be described as usual teacher's school life, with a twist. There is nothing really original in there but overall the story is evolving in an interesting way. I can't wait to see what will happen next.

My votes:

CGs: 9/10 (nice CG, animations and posing quality. There is a lot of stuff to see, so it gives you quantity as well)
Eros: 9/10 (it's a slow-building relationships game but the pace is perfect for me)
Sex: 8.5/10 (there is not so much variety as of yet, but the kinks selection menu can give a pretty good idea on what has to come).
Dialogues and story: 8/10 (Again you can only be original to an extent, but everything is very well executed)

Highly recommended to play.
