VN - Ren'Py - Dual Family [v1.22.1ce] [Gumdrop Games]

In a market saturated with shitty erotic games full of shitty unrealistic characters, nonsensical plots, rape fantasies and other crap comes a game with an actually decent, relatable cast and a plot pacing that feels far more realistic. I will admit the update schedule is frustrating, but outside of that the actual quality of the content is quite good and is one of the first games I did not quickly give up on following the actual dialogue.

This game doesn't really know what it wants to be. I mean, it's a good visual novel, but not an erotic one. I'm intrigued by the story and characters, and I want to see more, but it really needs to make up its mind on whether or not it wants to be a porn game, or just a love story of a broken family.

This game has been around for over a year now, and there's not much progress to show. I don't feel like anything has progressed at all, and at the rate it's going, it literally won't get anywhere. Ever.

If you like an interesting plot, and believable(yet sometimes over-acted) characters, along with a couple of softcore nude images, then you should play this. If you're not interested in any of that, then this game isn't for you.

A truly excellent game brought down by constant delays. What is available is good though.

I am giving it a full 5 stars, however, because that's the level of satisfaction that I have playing it and I do believe that developmental hurdles shouldn't figure into assessment's of the game itself.

The game is low on sex but high on story and characterization. While this might make it a bad PORN game, it is my full believe that it remains an excellent Visual novel otherwise.

Love the artwork. Story line albeit a bit slow for me personally. But to me, it's kindof in a good way that it helps it stand apart from most of the other games/novels I've witnessed. But have enjoyed it thus far and hope that it continues onto better things, as am looking forward to finally getting into more character 'interaction'.

Five stars because among all the ren'py productions in this site this work has the average rating contradicting the most with the actual quality of the renders and the beauty of the females, especially the daughter. Yes, the pacing is slow but if you believe in that visual novel is an art form, and I think yes, it is, then in arts, pace is not a factor but a variable. It varies from work to work, artist to artist.

As 0.98 ce I find the game to be really twisted and compelling and I’m liking the story so far, its different from most other games out there.
The characters are fucked up crazy, the graphics are good, and as for now I’m hooked and I want to know how it ends.

The best art of any erotic game, bar none. The character models are all top quality. Realistic, emotional story that avoids the usual pitfalls. Actual consequences to the decisions that affect the direction of the game.

This is just a sexless fever dream spiced with dutch angles and really really annoying "..." if you're looking for a actual game, entertainment or any sort of enjoyment look for it elsewhere this is just a waste of time as for now (v 0.98).

Outstanding game far above the others. Sure, the content comes late but the story, feeling and especially the CG graphics are superb. Loads of content and the puzzle mechanic is also great and adds something innovative. Well worth the relative long update wait periods

The story had really potential in the beginning of the game, but the writer took a turn somewhere toward depressingwille. Additionally the incestious love doesn't really develop anywhere; it's one step forward and two steps back. The image quality is alright, however the images are so extremely dark it's sometimes impossible to make out what you're actually looking at. 2/10

And so far I can also tell that the best VNs are the ones taking their time and centered around step 1 and 2 as Gumdrop does with his game. Because once you've unlocked sex, you get used to it quite fast and it becomes boring.

The writing is fine for me. it makes things spicy and with a rock solid base before every move and before the inevitable sex.

the only issue for me is that I struggle to remember what happened in the last updates, especially considering things become quickly confusing when you're doing both routes one after another. Atleast, this makes me want to replay the whole game to remember every detail. in the best of world, i'd like to play this game only when he will be finished, but i'm too impatient.

Anyway both stories intricate really well, that's a masterpiece. it's funny to see the son trying to fuck his mom while in the same time, the Dad wants to fuck the brains out of his daughter. I hardly imagine how they will justify this to each other as the game progress, lol. By developping so much the psychology of his characters, he injects so much realism within the game that he makes things really complicated for himself as a dev. it will be really hard to make a decent conclusion to this game.

Unique story line and a lot mini game. There is not much game with this kind of two way to play game play. All images are good quality not just standard copy/paste from Daz. The game is based more on story and less sex scene. There is a lot potential about expanding. I like it a lot. Keep great work.

This game has got me wrapped around it's finger. From the absolutely amazing story writng, to the gorgeous visuals and the intensive build up. Everything is connected, from the things you say to the places you visit. I can't wait to see this game to the end. I have a good feeling the developer won't disappoint.

While the graphics are nice, and there is (or obviously will) be plenty of sex, and a lot of variety in the upcoming updates, there is zero seduction.

If you like rape this is the game for you. You get to play as a rapist as one character, and as a rape victim as another. If you don't like rape this isn't the game for you. Also, the plot is very drawn out, with very little non-rape adult action. If you value your time you won't bother with this game.

This is a porn game with no porn in it. It is incredibly wordy without going anywhere. The individual scene writing is ok, but the plotting is a disaster. Everyone is depressed and/or incredibly stupid. If playing as the father, you can pick every "I want to fuck 18 year olds" option there is, and you still still call the girl who is throwing herself at you a disgusting suck whore. While trying to claim to be the good guy.

Then you find our your wife is fucking your son (or sleeping with him? Who fucking knows with how the scenes jump around) and you don't call her on it. You just get angry and instead of just saying "You're fucking your son, you bitch!" you.. do anything but that and mope like some child.

Give someone else these renders, re-plot the whole thing, add some fucking sex, and this game could be one of the best here. The premise is great. The execute is garbage.

Oh, and change the dream sections so we can tell if they are a dream or not. I have no idea what is going on in this game beside everyone is an idiot.

Story-wise, one of the best and realistic approaches for an incest game. You are thrown in as a daughter or a son, of a clearly somehow destroyed family. Your parents are going to divorce..maybe? So you can take "advantage" of that or you can help, to bring everything back together.

If you´re looking for a game with quick sex and you might not be a patient person, than you shouldn´t play this game for now. Come back in one year, it is still in progress.

Right now, the game clearly doesn´t focus on fast sex. Character development and the plot are far more important for the dev.

All in all my most favorite game so far. I´m a sucker for story and slow progression. I also like the model of the mother and kind of the psychologically somehow destroyed, depressed mindset of the family and their relatives. But that´s what makes the game special and realistic. If you are coming from a divorced family, you may know.

today i can say it seems like a complete scam , every update cominng about 3-4 months with the same texts and same renders different locations. it seems the dev wants the money more than completing the project.

The only thing you can do in son's route is rape your aunt that is only content in son's path even dad route is worst the only thing he gets is niece fucking her while he is sleep. there is some groping peeping scene but not good enough.
