Also, as of 0.10.0, I have (hopefully) clarified some things and expanded on the quick in-game 'tutorial' that is given when you first enter the pseudo-sandbox, as I recognise that it may not have been super clear on how that works.

I understand the concern about the file size of Detached.

As of 0.10.0, I have made a heavily compressed version that is under 900mb for the Windows/Linux build.

You can find links for it under the the main download links under "Compressed".

These builds aren't as visually nice as the larger ones, but they offer easier access to Detached if you have limited hard drive space or have poor internet connection.

I liked the idea of the game in general, but you have to find another way to improve the progression system, I spent about 25 minutes trying to advance a story but I felt like I was going around in circles, I know there is a hint system but it breaks the immersion a lot, Maybe you can add an active tracking system according to the girl you want to advance the story. For the moment I will add it to test future versions, good luck.

I actually do have plans to implement actual UI elements into the sandbox parts. Main parts of the plan includes:

- Character portrait overlays that highlight if an event is available on the day you're currently on
- Pop up window if their portrait is clicked, showing stats and events hints (so as to avoid unnecessary menu diving and allow for quick referencing)
- Next Main Event checklist overlay

QoL improvements are always things I want to work to improve on. I'm also just poorly equipped with the technical knowledge to actually be making a game as this is largely just a side hobby that I decided to jump into head first, so it's been a... slow process in getting certain ideas built and implemented lol.

A way to change Daine's name, if anyone wants it.

Open the file, edit the 'namechange' s to your desired name, and drop it into the game folder.

24th Mar '24 - "Updated" to v0.10

• Technically there are no changes to the file, because no new instances of Daine's name have sprouted up that I could find

It's how people say, not all heroes wear capes =P
Thanks to the mod i might give it another go because i'm geniunly at a point where i drop most porngames if they don't have custom name option for MC.

don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but right near the beginning of the game, when you're talking to Anne and Hana in the alleyway, she mentions the movie Superbad, but then proceeds to describe the plot of Kick-Ass.
